They almost die, but LIAM accidentally saved a wolve's baby which was nearly fall down from the hill, so the wolves never hunt them again as an appreciation.
When Liam Neeson reaches home, he saw his wife is crying watching their photos, he talk to her but she cant see him, he only realised he is a spirit now..
Only two survivors are a life when they managed to signal the rescuer their safe location. They are thankful but at the same time they are sad for their lost.
