Lee Jun Ki Confirmed for MBC Drama “Two Weeks”
Good news for Lee Jun Ki fans!
On May 6, Lee Jun Ki’s agency IMXannounced that Lee Jun Ki has been confirmed for the upcoming MBC drama, “TwoWeeks,” which will be written by So Hyun Kyung. Lee Jun Ki has come back to the smallscreen for the first time since his military service discharge through the MBCdrama, “Arang and the Magistrate,” which ended last October. His success through that drama is raising the level of anticipation for this new drama.
“Two Weeks” is said to require complexand emotional acting skills as well as intense action scenes. Through hisagency, Lee Jun Ki commented, “As I watched So Hyun Kyung’s previous works inthe past, I really wanted to work with her if I had a chance. I am very excitedto be working with such a great writer,” and “I think my character will allowme to mature more as an actor. I will pour out my passion and try my best givea high-quality performance.” So Hyun Kyung worked on dramas such as“My Daughter Seoyoung,” “Shining Inheritance,” and “ProsecutorPrincess.”
“Two Weeks” is expected to air inAugust.

KIM SO YEON CONFIRMED FOR “TWO WEEKS”
Kim So Yeon will be joining Song Jae Rim and Lee Jun Ki on Two Weeks as a hard-nosed prosecutor with a strong sense of justice.
She previously worked with So Hyun Kyung on Prosecutor Princess. But I suspect this prosecutor will be more prone to wearing flats than heels. Two Weeks will air in August after The Queen’s Classroom on MBC.

SONG JAE RIM JOINS “TWO WEEKS” AS AN ASSASSIN
The actor who’s currently starring in Nail Shop Paris which — according to my twitter feed — is a hot mess, joins Lee Jun Ki in the MBC drama, Two Weeks as a professional killer. If you recall, the drama is about a man who is falsely accused of a murder, learns he’s got a daughter with leukemia and tries to save her in two weeks. If this involves trying to find a bone marrow match, your guess is as good as mine. It’s set to premiere in August.
