Singapore will make history on Table Tennis final day
DELHI, Oct 13 - The final day of Table Tennis competition at the Yamuna Sports complex on Thursday, October 14, will feature three more Gold medal matches.

Kicking off proceedings in the morning will be the Bronze and Gold medal matches in the Women's Wheelchair Singles Para event.

In the Bronze medal playoff, South African Aletta MOLL, Silver medallist at  the 2002 Commonwealth Games, will take on Faith OBIORA (NGR), who won Silver at the 2006 Games in Melbourne.

Catherine MORROW (AUS) and Kate OPUTA (NGR) will be battling for the Gold.

LI Jiawei (SIN) will be aiming for a hattrick of Women's Doubles Gold medals with three different partners when she teams up with SUN Beibei (SIN) in the final against compatriots FENG Tianwei and WANG Yuegu (SIN).

Australia will hope to maintain its hold on the Bronze in this event following third-placed finishes in 2002 and 2006. Vivian TAN and Peri CAMPBELL-INNES (AUS) will face India's Poulomi GHATAK and Mouma DAS in the battle for Bronze.

The Men's Singles final will see a 1-2 finish by one country for the first time in Commonwealth Games history with the Singapore pair of GAO Ning and YANG Zi making it through. It will be Singapore's first ever Gold in this event.

India will take Bronze with dethroned champion Sharath Kamal ACHANTA (IND) facing teammate Soumyadeep ROY (IND) in the playoff for third place.

tapi yg i ingat sgt ada sorang peserta kanada ni dia jer yg menang.. alang2 bila malaysia dah lead dia masuk jer terus malaysia kalah no.2.. badan dia besar sikit.. i tak ingat sgt tapi mmg dia jer yg dapat emas balik2..
