I pun nak buat satay tapi tunggu my sisters and kids datang hari sabtu ni.
BTW, petang tadi lepas balik shopping kat city I bawak my bapak pergi sembelih sekor lembu dan sekor lamb. Boleh buat bbq feast kat rumah.... |

Ketam goreng....hampir tiap hari I goreng dan ratah tanpa nasi. Minggu depan nak pergi jumpa doctor untuk check kolesterol..... Sekarang ni tengah musim sotong dan ketam kat sini.

Resipi kuah satay using peanut butter tu lbh kurang je kalau yg dimasak dengan kacang tanah. Only thing is, you use chunky, not creamy peanut butter.
One easy recipe (allrecipes.com):
INGREDIENTS
1 (10 ounce) can coconut milk
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
1/2 small onion, grated
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
DIRECTIONS
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine coconut milk, peanut butter, onion, soy sauce, brown sugar, and pepper flakes. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Remove from heat, and keep warm |

Dulu2 I selalu rebus ketam ni sebab orang kat sini memang buat macam tu. Balik je rumah dia orang terus rebus shellfish yg ditangkap eg ketam dan lobster then simpan dalam freezer. Sekrg I dok goreng pulak sebab dah jelak makan ketam rebus. My mom ada buat masak lemak kuning dan sup ketam last week.. |

Di sini memang susah nak jumpa seafood yg fresh mcm ni.Semuanya sudah di frozen.Kalau ada pun mesti mahal.
Kalau balik Malaysia memang tak miss makan seafood banyak2. |

Actually kat sini pun seafood supply mostly frozen. Ada jugak yg fresh tapi tak byk choice. Kebetulan I dok dekat dengan laut dan berpeluang untuk tangkap sendiri makanan laut tu semua. Rezeki. |

On the way to Hay street, selalu jugak I lalu kat King Street tu tapi tak pernah masuk any of those shops. Tunggu bila dah betul2 mampu baru I jengok ke sana. Kalau harga bag/kasut AU500-600 I masih mampu. Yang rega AU$beribu riban I belum tergamak nak beli lagi...... |
