A'kum semua (lama tak post kat forum ) Harap semua kat forum sihat2 aje yerr...
Anyways, kali ni kita nak share recipe croquette. This time I made beef croquettes sbb gian lepas tgk dorg buat kat tv. nak buat senang je and boleh tuka2 inti dia ngan benda lain. Ni recipe yang kita pakai:
Beef croquette
Ingredients:
300g minced beef
5 potatoes, peeled and boiled until soft
1 large(green) onion, minced
salt & pepper
a dash of nutmeg
cheese **optional
2 tbsp milk
2 tbsp heavy cream **optional
2 tbsp butter to fry onion
2 tbsp butter to mix with mashed potatoes
coating:
flour
egg
breadcrumbs
How to make:
1. Cut potatoes and boil until soft. Drain and mash while still hot and add in some salt and pepper and 2 tbsp of butter. Add in milk and cream and mix well.
2. Fry minced onions with butter until fragrant and add in minced beef. Stir fry until beef is cooked. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg. ( Here you can add other spices of your liking and make it into different flavors. e.g: curry powder, all spice, oregano etc)
3. Mix together fried onion+beef with mashed potatoes. Make them into small patties ( like making hamburgers ) I add some cube cheese in the middle, which is totally optional if you don't have any
4. Coat the patties with flour, followed by beaten egg and bread crumbs. Deep fry in oil until golden brown. Serve hot with chillie sauce or tartar sauce.
These croquettes can be made into different versions. You can use minced chicken instead of beef, you can add mix veggies, or cheese or simply make it plain (which in that case you should up the cream/milk by 1 or 2 tbsp)
Selamat mencuba everyone! |
