creme brulee ni macam cream caramel jugak. cumanya yang ni gula tu dikaramelkan akhir sekali bila custard dah masak. last week tengok jamie oliver buat ni. tapi dia buat custard coklat.

ye maklang. kalau diperhatikan daripada bahannya pun kita boleh tahu. cumanya, creme brulee ni tak berair macam cream caramel. yang ni caramel belah atas. gula tu dicaramelisekan selepas custard dah siap.

satu lagi bezanya...gula & telur dipukul hingga slightly thick....

ps. baru siap buat passionfruit creme brulee, masa ni dalam oven....harum tangan...

   boleh buat hari nie lah...kat kedai sini ada jual yg readymade...tapi mahalll...  mkn x sempat kenyang dah abis...buat lekat celah gigi  jer...tapi 400ml cream tu...emmmm...x sanggup nak kira kalori...tapi sodap punya pasal..lantoklah hai..hik hik...

chemp beli brand Iwatani, beli kepalanya yang putih tu dan gasnya ada jual di mana-mana.....brand lain pun ada....

fachai,
bekas kaca tu khas untuk oven, sama juga yang dalam gambar atas tu...selalunya ada symbol atau ditulis boleh digunakan untuk oven or tulis ramekins.

torch yang khas untuk baking boleh cari di kedai bakery supplies, kalau tau mereka supply hotel, restaurants yang famous lagi bagus sebab boleh dapat macam-macam barang-barang baking & decorating...

selepas bakar, sejukkan dulu di luar dan keluarkan dari air panas tadi, lepas tu gula di sift ke acuan tadi dan simpan dalam fridge at least 1 hour.  Then, grill atau pakai torch, simpan lagi dalam fridge around 2 hours dan di malamkan pun ok......
