Sapa lagi lawa & hawt antara Masha & Monica? @ashburn
Iols x sabar nk tgk Monica perform kat US o ...
Dah lama jugak x berkuntum kat sini...ermmm utk soalan uols ni, walaupun iols minat Maria tp harus ku akui yg Monica Puig lg jelita cuma dia x tinggi aje.
In general tanpa ada rasa berat sebelah, yg paling cantik still milik Ana Ivanonic. |

Kan...sama la,x sabar tgk dia perform kat US Open..hopefully dia tidak lg terbuai2 dgn kejayaan dia kat Olimpik.
Now, dia kena fokus utk menang more title in WTA and most importantly achievement dia kat grand slam.
Of course, skrg ni semua seeded players tgh berdoa agar Monica bukan dlm section draw dia org. She's the most dangerous unseeded player. |

Omaiiigaddd...brutal draw for Serena! Very tough opponent for 1st round...jumpa Ekaterina Makarova..anyway, cabutan draw blum hbs lg..for men's, Novak Djokovic punya laluan agak tough gak..1st round opponent is Jerzy Janowicz formr Wimbledon semi finalist...potential jumpa Jiri Vesely, pemain yg pernah kalahkan dia pd thn ni.
Draw Rafa x kuar lg..masih menuggu dgn debar. |

Serena Williams remains the favorite, that’s a given. The question this time is whether she is still the prohibitive favorite, the way she typically has been over the last four years. I’m going to say...not quite. Yes, Serena won Wimbledon, but she also lost early at the Olympics and has been nursing a shoulder injury. And there are a few other players—Angelique Kerber, Simona Halep, Madison Keys—who have been inching closer in recent months. All of which means that, rather than a presumed coronation, as we had on the women’s side in 2015, we’ll have a competitive event. Here’s a look at how the draw may shake out.
*****
FIRST QUARTER
We’ll get a very good idea of where Serena is, shoulder-wise and otherwise, in herfirst-round match against Ekaterina Makarova. The two played in the semifinals at the Open two years ago, and two years before that Makarova beat Serena in straight sets at the Australian Open. Serena has had her struggles in first rounds before, but I’m thinking the (presumed) night-session atmosphere will help the American more than it does the Russian.
That won’t be the last land mine in Serena’s field as she moves toward through this quarter. She could face 29th-seeded Ana Ivanovic and 16th-seeded Sam Stosur, each of whom has beaten Serena at a major. Most dangerous of all could be a quarterfinal showdown No. 5 seed Simona Halep. As usual, this 2015 Open semifinalist has had a burst of confidence on U.S. hard courts this summer.
Also here: Daria Kasatkina, Elena Vesnina
First-round matches to watch:
—Halep vs. Kirsten Flipkens
—Lucie Safarova vs. Daria Gavrilova
Semifinalist: S. Williams
*****
SECOND QUARTER
Agnieszka Radwanska is the No. 4 seed, but history says she won’t live up to that billing; she has never been past the round of 16 at Flushing Meadows. Who is most likely to take her spot in the semifinals? How about No. 6 seed Venus Williams? History isn’t on her side, either. Yes, she’s won this tournament twice, but she hasn’t seen a semi there since 2010.
Who else? Karolina Pliskova is the 10th seed and is coming off the biggest win of her career, in Cincinnati; but her career record at the Open is just 2-3. Anastasia Pavlychenkova has had a good year, but she hasn’t been past the third round in Queens since 2011. Timea Bacsinszky? She has been a Grand Slam semifinalist, at Roland Garros in 2015, but she is just 4-7 at the Flushing Meadows. Are you getting the feeling this section could be up for grabs?
Also here: Eugenie Bouchard, and the Kiki’s, Bertens and Mladenovic
Semifinalist: V. Williams
*****
THIRD QUARTER
The top two seeds here are Garbiñe Muguruza and Madison Keys, and you know that means: We’ll take it day by day.
Muguruza has given us her best (French Open) and worst (Australian Open, Wimbledon, Olympics) this year. Judging from that list, you’re probably better off penciling her in as a early loser than as the eventual champion. Especially if she faces 32nd-seed Monica Puig in the third round. Puig beat Muguruza 6-1, 6-1 on her way to the gold medal in Rio.
To be fair, while Keys is erratic from one point to the next, she has been a steady big-match player this season, reaching the second week at the French Open and Wimbledon, and finishing fourth at the Olympics.
Also here: Belinda Bencic, Barbora Strycova, 51st-ranked Caroline Wozniacki
First-round matches to watch:
—Keys vs. Alison Riske
—Coco Vandeweghe vs. Naomi Osaka
—Svetlana Kuznetsova vs. Francesca Schiavone, for old time’s sake
—Johanna Konta vs. Bethanie Mattek-Sands
Semifinalist: Keys
*****
FOURTH QUARTER
Angelique Kerber’s first shot at becoming No. 1, in Cincinnati, came and went quickly. What effect will it have on her at the Open, where she have another? At first glance, the No. 2 seed’s early draw should help her get back on track; she opens against 116th-ranked Polona Hercog. On second glance, though, is that first-rounder as easy as it looks? Their last meeting was in 2011, but Herzog won it. Tougher for Kerber could be a third-round match between either Petra Kvitova or Elina Svitolina.
Also here: Roberta Vinci, Irina-Camelia Begu, Dominika Cibulkova, Christina McHale
First-round match to watch: Kvitova vs. Jelena Ostapenko
Semifinalist: Kerber
*****
Semifinals: S. Williams d. V. Williams; Kerber d. Keys
FINAL: S. WILLIAMS D. KERBER

Murray could face Nishikori in last eight
Novak Djokovic could have a tricky start to defending his US Open championship, and it won't get any easier later for the Serbian in New York, where main draw play starts on Monday.
The top seed and two-time champion (2011, 2015) will open against former World No. 14 and 2013 Wimbledon semi-finalist Jerzy Janowicz. In the second round, Djokovic could face one of the five players to gain a win against him this season: Czech Jiri Vesely, who beat Djokovic in the second round at the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters in April.
From there, the Belgrade native could meet 28th seed Martin Klizan for the third time. Djokovic beat the Slovakian twice on hard courts last season.
If the seeds maintain, Frenchman Richard Gasquet, 13th seed, or 20th seed John Isner could challenge the Serbian in the fourth round. But both players have enticing first-round contests: Isner plays American wild card Frances Tiafoe; Gasquet meets #NextGen star Kyle Edmund of Britain. Another all-American, first-round clash will take place in the same quarter when 26th seed Jack Sockmeets #NextGen star Taylor Fritz.

Croatian Marin Cilic, 2014 US Open champion, could meet Djokovic in the quarter-finals. Seventh seed Cilic heads to New York playing some of his best tennis since he captured his first Grand Slam championship two years ago. The 6'6” right-hander beat Andy Murray last week in Cincinnati to take his first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title.
In the semi-finals, fans could see the 50th installment of Djokovic v. Rafael Nadal. The 29-year-old right-hander has won their past seven encounters.
Fourth seed Nadal debuts against Uzbekistan's Denis Istomin and could face Frenchman Stephane Robert or Italian Andreas Seppi in the second round. The Spaniard's first seeded opponent could be countryman Albert Ramos-Vinolas, the 31st seed, in the third round. Another Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut, the 15thseed, or 24th seed Lucas Pouille of France might meet Nadal in the fourth round.
Tenth seed Gael Monfils or fifth seed Milos Raonic could battle Nadal in the last eight. Both Monfils and Raonic open against hard-charging, big servers: Monfils plays Luxembourg's Gilles Muller; Raonic plays Germany's Dustin Brown.

On the other half of the draw, second seed Andy Murray, 2012 US Openchampion, opens against the Czech Lukas Rosol and could meet SpaniardMarcel Granollers or Argentine Juan Monaco in the second round.
The Brit's first seeded opponent could be 30th seed Gilles Simon in the third round. Murray leads their FedEx ATP Head2Head series 14-2. Spaniard Feliciano Lopez, 16th seed, or 22nd seed Grigor Dimitrov might meet Murray in the fourth round. This year's Emirates US Open Series champion Kei Nishikori could greet Murray in the last eight.

Awaiting Murray in the semi-finals could be third seed Stan Wawrinka, but the Swiss will have to fight past a difficult early stretch. He opens against World No. 47 Fernando Verdasco, who beat Wawrinka on grass at the Aegon Championships in June. American Denis Kudla or a qualifier will await in the second round, and Wawrinka might have to face #NextGen star Alexander Zverevin the third round. Aussie Nick Kyrgios, the 14th seed, or 17th seed Bernard Tomiccould await in the fourth round. If the seeds play out, eighth seed Dominic Thiemwould be Wawrinka's quarter-final opponent.
Juan Martin del Potro, 2009 US Open champion, returns to New York by wild card and debuts against fellow Argentine Diego Schwartzman. Del Potro could meet 19th seed and top American Steve Johnson in the second round. Spanish veteranDavid Ferrer, the 11th seed, could await in the third round before del Potro might face Thiem in the Round of 16.
