KUALA LUMPUR – The Principal of Akademi Fantasia Season 9 (AF9) Amy Search said that Fina really deserves the immunity, enabling her to qualify for the final concert of AF9.
“She really deserves it,” said Amy when he was asked to make a review on the immunity that was given to Fina during a press conference after the eighth weeks concert of AF9 which was dubbed as the immunity concert.
Earlier during the concert last night, Amy had reminded the chosen student who gets the immunity to use the chance that was given wisely and to not disappoint their teachers.
Now, Fina no longer need to compete in the ninth week’s concert next week and would only have to be in the final concert on June 12.
The decision to give Fina the immunity was made both by 50 per cent from the teachers and another half from the SMS votes.
Before the concert, Fina, or Nur Shafinaz Jebat, 18, was at the last spot between five AF9 students with the lowest SMS votes.
During the concert that was held at Studio Satu Pusat Penyiaran Asia (Astro) Bukit Jalil last night, Fina sang Samudera, a song brought by Nora.
Regular critique, Fauziah Datuk Ahmad Daud reminded Fina to be careful and not to be too monotonous.
Another regular critique, Hattan in the other hand, asked Fina to not to worry too much about the SMS votes.
Meanwhile, invited critique, Sham Kamikaze advised Fina to be more careful when it comes to singing songs with lower tone.
Songs that were covered by AF9 students yesterday was songs chosen by listeners of the official radio for AF9, Era FM and an official entertainment portal murai.com.my.
AF9 students were given the chance to choose their own performing style for the concert and Fina had chose to sing while being accompanied by two dancers.
After all of the performances and the line for SMS votes were closed, Fina who received 21 per cent SMS votes were at the second spot after Hazama with 25 per cent SMS votes.
Lena was at the last spot with 18 per cent SMS votes were saved from being the student that had to leave the academy.
This is because teachers of AF9 have decided that there will be no eliminations in an immunity concert. – mynewshub.my
