Just watched Ep1, tonight gonna watch Ep2 and Ep3

reminds me of Smallville

Merlin = Clark Kent

Both having magic/superpower but must kept as secret
and both always using their secret powers to save the days.


One thing this series lack of is pretty chicks

totally agree... a gud story indeed.. but the timeline seems weird.. i'm not a die hard fan of arthurian legacy..but imagine that merlin is growing up with arthur.. seems weird though..

thought that merlin suppose to be much much older than arthur then him when he pull out out the sword from stone to prove his the right heir for the throne...

and when arthur is uniting all the nation to form the new camelot.. with his trusted knight by his side.. and merlin is always being his mentor.. that's wut i remeber.. correct me if i'm wrong.

p/s: still remember abt a cartoon in the 80s called arthur and the knight of the round table.... EXCALIBUR... be my strength...!!! hahaha...

yeah, it's true that the timeline is totally wrong.  
Merlin suppose to help uther get a son(arthur) in the original story.
but what the heck...  

if they faithfully follow the actual legends of Merlin, I doubt many would want to watch an old geezer with pointy hat as the lead character.

Just treat it like a alternate version of Merlin and King Arthur.

Finally they got some watchable chicks in Ep3, the bionic woman witch.
I heard she will be the regular villain in the series

I'm eagerly waiting for the Sword in the Stone story part, I suspect it might be somewhere at the season finale.

Uther died and Arthur need to retrieve the sword to claim his throne?
