Due to the unfortunate circumstances of the passenger ship sinking, the three major broadcasting companies, MBC, SBS, and KBS, will continue suspending all shows into the weekend.
MBC has confirmed that the weekend programs on April 19 and 20 will all be canceled. This includes 'Show! Music Core,' 'We Got Married,' 'Infinity Challenge,' 'Quiz to Change The World,' 'Section TV Entertainment Relay,' 'Dad, Where Are You Going?' 'Real Men,' and more. All of these shows will be replaced with news specials.
The weekend dramas 'Come! Jang Bo Ri' and 'Hotel King' have likewise been canceled.

It is nearly the same case for SBS, which postponed the first episodes for new weekend drama 'Good Day' and variety program 'Roommate' to April 26 and 27. Other programs like 'Angel Eyes,' 'Fish Bread,' 'Star King,' '1000 Song Challenge,' and 'Running Man' have likewise been canceled.
All of KBS's variety programs such as KBS 2TV's 'Full House,' 'Love and War,' 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook,' and more will be replaced with documentaries. Meanwhile, KBS 1TV will continue reporting and broadcasting information relating to the passenger ship.
Most of CJ E&M's major channels will also halt their normal weekend programming.
