Tiger and Mickelson struggle as Garcia stays out in front

INSTEAD of charging, Tiger Woods got in trouble on his first swing of the day yesterday and slipped to seven off the lead after a three-over 74.

Woods yanked his opening shot into the Barry Burn, looking on in disbelief as the ball dribbled into the ominous, meandering stream. He also bogeyed the 18th and limped to the midway point of the championship well behind leader Sergio Garcia at one-over for the championship on 143.

The world's best player had plenty of work to do if he wants to become the first in more than a half-century to win a third straight Open championship.

Garcia followed a brilliant six-under 65 with a workmanlike 71, sinking the sort of testy putts that have bedevilled him through his career.

UK open semalam tak ada orang tengok ke? Favourite aku Sergio Garcia kalah dengan Padraight Harington play off 4 lobang. Last day leading 3 stroke Garcia main 2 over, harington main 6 under. Tiger wood, Vijay singh hancuss...

You boleh main kat serendah aje ke? Serendah is a good course. Aku minat. Tapi most of the time aku main kat Danau UKM aje.

kat bandar utama, Rm10 for 100..kat subang not more than RM11...i think between RM8-11....and Subang close around 11.30pm compared to Bandar utama at 10.30pm...

Saya main tak menentu banyak tempat (KL area) tapi selalu week days aja. Ada juga 2 pro dari Setapak golf range (indian pro) (RM11.00 - 100 bola). Damansara, Ttitiwangsa (9 holes), Bukit Beruntung pun penah main, tapi course yang best Serendah (green fees murah week days). Danau UKM belum penah main lagi, boleh cuba satu hari nanti...

Hi Kupia,

I selalu gak dok pergi Setapak driving range..tapi lately aku lepak kat Bukit Kiara range aje since dekat dengan office aku...lagipun kat situ ada putting green, free..malam pun still boleh putting...kat setapak, kena bayar RM2 kalau nak practice putting..

Maybe next time kita boleh arrange main, ajak Pro Salz sekali...Insya-allh, kalau kena hari, aku boleh main weekdays...

Hati-hati pro kat setapak..ada yang nak kaut duit aje...I know few of them..pastu ada yang dok paksa beli barang dia orang...be careful!

Kalau nak, next time kita boleh arrange main dengan single handicapper..some of them club champion...and we can play with Pro as well.

kat Bukit Jelutong kau boleh practice green and also Pitch and Putt..ada 18 holes kat situ..semua Par 3...good for short game practice..

1. kat malaysia ni banyak golf courses yang allow non-handicap registered player main...even kat Saujana Subang tu pun kau boleh main without handicap card..

some courses, they allow you to play but must declare your own handicap index..

2. kalau you takde attach dengan mana2 golf club house, you boleh pergi aje mana2 club (most of them) to manage your handicap card...tapi ada registration fee and also annual fee...
handicap card is maintained on monthly basis..
basically, to know your handicap index, you main dulu at least 10 times..pergi kat mana2 free website yang boleh keep your score for free and after 10 scorecards, the system gives you your average handicap index and also course handicap index..
panjang kalau nak bercerita nih...

kalau nak official hanidcap card, Kinrara golf club ada provide that service..tapi ada syarat2..
end of the month, you kena submit your scorecards..initially 5 scorecards..but certain club nak 10..
end of the month, club akan hantar your scorecards ke MGA (M'sia Golf Assoc) to process..MGA is the official body that only can issue handicap card in M'sia and valid worldwide (most of the golf courses except elite golf courses yang ada syarat2 tertentu)..

3. once you dah dapat handicap card, it's up to you not to renew it...tapi bear in mind, handicap card ada validation period...

4. rasanya dah jawap kat atas...
