Buat Mega Tower kena onhold, pi lah pusing tang lain nak penuhkan karung guni... Kalo bab ketenteraan camneh, mana rakyat nak bising or tanya.. telan jeklaaa demi negara kekdahnya.. Tu yg Mubarak pon leh kayos melalui kontrak2 pertahanan negara dia dulu.. Ni Mesia xtaulah nak ikut jejak langkah ke tak... Kalo xde pembangkang kalu, ada nak dinyatakan kat rakyat tang mana spec2 kapal tu? Skang leh lah cakap gitu gini tepek pic itu ini saji kat rakyat.. RM6 Billion Approved For Six Patrol Vessels

LUMUT, Feb 5 (Bernama) -- The government has agreed to allocate RM6 billion to build six second generation patrol vessels for the Royal Malaysian Navy, Defence Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said Saturday.
The construction of the ships will boost the economy while benefiting 632 vendor companies, he told reporters here after a briefing on the project.
"Thus, we will ensure that at least RM2 billion of the allocation will benefit these vendor companies which are strategic partners of Boustead Naval Shipyard Sdn Bhd," he added.
Ahmad Zahid said that he would himself monitor the progress of the project, due to start next year, and ensure that all concerned benefit from it and that there was no delay in paying the vendors.
He said that Boustead Naval Shipyard had constructed several new generation vessels for the RMN and shown itself to be on par with other ship builders in the world.
Ahmad Zahid also said the Lumut-Bagan Datoh coastal area here has been identified for a world-class shipyard to be developed over the next 10 to 20 years.
He said the defence industry, including shipping, had immense potential in the Asean region and now generated income of US$25 billion a year.
If Malaysia could attract at least 20 per cent of the defence spending, US$5 billion or RM15 billion could be generated by companies in the country, he said.
Ahmad Zahid the government was now trying to attract more defence industry-based projects, including ship building, to the country.

(AFP) - French financial police have searched the offices of naval arms manufacturer DCNS and industrial group Thales in connection with a probe into the sale of submarines to Malaysia, a judicial source said today.
Documents were seized in the operation, which was carried out last week, the source added.
Thales declined to comment on the matter.
DCNS told AFP it "neither confirms nor denies this information."
"A judicial investigation is under way and we can make no comment."
The Paris prosecutor's office in March opened an investigation into the 2002 sale following a complaint lodged last year by the Malaysian human rights group Suaram.
The group alleges that Armaris, a subsidiary of Thales and the DCN, as the DCNS was formerly known, paid a commission of 114 million euros (140 million dollars) to the Malaysian company Perimekar, linked to people close to now Prime Minister Najib Razak.
Najib in 2002 was defence minister and was responsible for negotiating the contract.
Since 2000, the payment of commissions on contracts linked to foreign leaders amounts to corruption under French law.
The DCN in 2002 joined Thales and Spanish naval construction group Navantia in a contract to sell Malaysia three submarines for around one billion euros.
A spokesman for the Malaysian prime minister's office in late April insisted there was "no case" to answer.
He maintained that the deal had been free of graft and that Perimekar had not improperly benefited from it. |

Dictators all over the world make money through defence contracts. And the exorbitant price that Malaysia is paying for the six patrol boats can only be because of shenanigans. Why can’t Malaysia call for an open tender like other countries?

First of all let us sturdy what sort of company is Boustead Naval Shipyard. The company was formerly known as PSC Naval Dockyard and run by Amin Shah and gang.
The former was was awarded 1st Batch of 6 Patrol Vessels at a cost of RM5.35B which included payment for the design to a company from Germany, but failed to complete.
Then Najib appoint UMNO crony act Chief of Navy Ahmad Ramli to takeover. Not only that, Najib also gave additional RM1800 millions of Rakyats money for the joker company to complete the project.
The company failed miserably in performance however managed to handover the last of 1st Batch PV end of last year and that was after about 15 YEARS from the date it was first awarded.
Anyway Zahid Hamidi rated the Shipyard to be at par interm of capability with any of its Asean counterparts.I am of the opinion that Zahid is nothing more than A PIMP for Najib. The reason I say that is because he used to have certain self principle but now since he became Defence Minister and had to coverup too many wrongdoings done by Najib ,his socalled self dignity happen to disappear.
On top of the RM6B new contract the same company had been awarded to build certain patrol crafts for about RM120+++millions. Not to forget the so-called TIN CANS maintenance contract about RM1800 millions (UMNO/BN called submarine) also awarded to these group of companies.
What has this SUPER COMPANY done which makes them deserved RM13270 millions of rakyats money for the benefit of a few hundred people?. THE SOCALLED SUPER COMPANY is living of spoon feed by UMNO/BN govt and if not given govt contract WILL GO BUST in less than 6 months.Is this we call competitive?
Najib ,you and your pimps increase the price of essential items and burden us rakyat to save 745 millions and then you gave to the bloody rubbish ,non performer company of your crony to spend lavishly.So what is next on the list to increase in price, I suppose COOKING OIL. You are treating us Rakyat like a bloody fool,however NOT ALL RAKYAT WILL BE bloody fool as your UMNO/BN supporters whom even whatever you say they will always accept.To all RAKYAT WHO HAVE WAKEN UP its time for us to punish these traitors by DUMPING THEM during 13th GE then, maybe then alot of money to be spend can be saved. |

Even with strong opposition against corruption, BN government appears to be could not care less and made an announcement to buy petrol boat almost 1000% more expensive than those in the market without tender. It is like teaching the public a lesson for raising the submarine deal. Tell me where within BN providing the check and balance. Mana MCA, mana MIC, mana Gerakan, mana PBS, mana righteous UMNO politicians like Kuli. As far as the public in concern, all BN representatives are either hopeless, careless, could not care less or involved in this scandal.
Malaysians should ask themselves. Even with strong opposition in the parliament, BN government still dare to rob our tax payer money. What happened all those years when there were weak opposition and what will happen in future when BN become government again?
The choice is yours. If you continue to vote for them, you have no one blame but yourself. To all Malaysians, this is not a race issue and this is not a religion issue. Those racist politicians have been using these to divide us and get us to vote them. We must learn and learn fast before it is too late.

There are a lot of hidden cost that needs to pay to all the decision makers? Whatever government paid always few hundred per cent more than others because it has to go to few dirty hands to add up their percentage before the project is finalised. Do you need to spend RM6 billion to catch those pirates and defence our shores? I suggest it is more effective for government to use RM600 millions(10% of RM6 Billion) as bounty to any mercenery who can catch those pirates. At the end of the day, they always come out with a reason that the extra few billions we pay are justified because of the sophisticated software developed by a RM2 company is necessary for the 6 vessels to differentiate a friendly or an hostile vessel. As long as UMNO is running this country, nothing we can do about it excepts looking helplessly how these people slowly suck us dried. |

I watched the video clip of the press conference conducted by the French Investigator . As expected it was not reported by our local government control media in spite of what the French Investigator discovery were of great important to Malaysians at large.
He said the French Authority initiate this investigation after it was reported in our Malaysia parliament by our minister that the EUR114 million paid to Perimekar (company owned by Razak Baginda and wife) was by French company for the services rendered by Perimekar in the submarine deal.
According to the French investigator, Perimekar was established a few months before the closure of the deal. The company did not have any expertise and therefore is not in position to provide any credible services for the submarine deal. He concluded that this is a bribery case. He added that if the investigation found that the EUR114 million was actually paid by the French company then action will be taken again the French company by the France authority. However, if the EUR114 million was payment made by Malaysian government with the intention to funnel it into Perimekar then the French authority will not pursue the matter further but instead expect Malaysian authority to take necessary action. He even asked the journalists how many hospitals and schools can be built from the EUR114 million.
From the evidents given by the French Investigator, this is a clear case of big time bribery and regardless of what the French authority decide to do, we expect the relevant Malaysians authorities to take immediate action as it involved a huge amount of our tax payers money. Minister from the Prime Minister department, En Jala has made it very clear that our country will be in deep shit if the government do not reduce the government subsidy. Before we purnish the rakyat by reducing the subsidy, is it right to recover all the corrupted money paid to Perimekar for a start. Also make sure we get back the tax payers money from those who have stolen it through the PKFZ and many other projects as reported in the Auditor General report. Once we have done that we should make sure that from now onward, we only buy things that we need and those we need to be on open tender terms. If nothing is done, then the Rakyat should put their votes in good use in next general election.
