Aku nak share sket pengalaman aku entering USA last year. Sekarang dah makin stringent. I flew through Singapore. Sebelum check in kt kaunter ticket, pegawai keselamatan ala tentera dah mintak passport dulu nak tengok kita punya visa either valid or not (check barang2 tu kes lain pulak) and kena tanya serba sedikit why nak gi sana.. then pegawai tu puas hati, barula gi kaunter tiket to check in, the person at the counter tanya lagi details.. apa nak buat kat sana, kat mana stay, record name and address of place to stay, etc etc... then... macam2 lah.. siap kena bukak kasut lagi wakakakka... and sampai kt USA, the international airport.. lagi satu kerja.. amik thumbprint, kena tanya macam2 soklan... Sebelum ni takde la macam neh.. menci tul. But, I've been lucky.. each entry, aku dapat stay up to 6 months!
NI just my suggestion aa...
IF, mamat tu dah datang sini dulu.. and you both have developed some sort of strong relationship, it would be easier for you to get a visa - fiance visa or something.
Kalau setakat nak gi sana to meet someone you know over the net.. hmm.. tatau ler.. mungkin tricky sket. But if you have a good job here, and have good reasons to come back, you may get it..  |

USA is a land of oppportunity but it can be foreign to us asians. I spent some years there.
If anyone wants to go there, I think mesti ada sebab yang betul and reasonable. Kalau nak gi travel, I think it is always good to have someone we are familiar with kt sana.
Tapi that is me, aku ni mmg jenis tak berapa nak berani wakakkaka... |

i spent 4 years there...talking thru experience its not a wonderful place to live anymore ..not during my old time before..
my sister inlaw and her family staying in cleveland..originally from new york but got to move.. because of the islamphobia over there..

I visited my old place last year. Aku rasa agak asing. I had forgotten many things, the streets.. Or perhaps I have changed since the last time I left. But, I still feel the nostalgia, jumpa kengkawan lama... Nangis gak masa return trip.. all the way to Japan.. hakakakak...
My friend ada gak suggest aku migrate ke sana, live and work there. But I told him that I am already too old for major changes like that. I'd definitely visit USA from time to time - it is my second home - but that's it lah...
Kalaupun aku nak date matsalleh pun.. cari expats je lah kt Malaysia neh.. hakakakka... |
