Badminton: Chong Wei must set sights on winning a major crown

Inconsistent Koo-Tan give Rexy little cheer despite Swiss victory
PETALING JAYA: Koo Kien Keat-Boon Heong have ended a Super Series title drought in fine fashion but their coach Rexy Mainaky is not about to sing praises about the duo yet.
In the Swiss Open final on Sunday, Kien Keat-Boon Heong avenged their defeat by Danes Mathias Boe-Carsten Mogensen in the quarter-finals of the preceding All England. They registered a brilliant 21-14, 21-18 win in just 39 minutes.
The previous day, they beat All-England champions Fu Haifeng-Cai Yun of China 23-21, 18-21, 21-14 in the semi-finals.
Their success in Basel was the first on the Super Series circuit since winning the Danish Open in October 2007.
Kien Keat-Boon Heong dropped their only game in the semi-final match against the Chinese No. 1 and overall, Rexy was happy that the duo made amends for their uninspiring performance at the All-England.
