SOrry i think you have a wrong concept here. Tru my experience, i think you developed viral exanthematum not measles. Some practitioners fail to recognize the rashes ( may br lack of experience) those who have seen measles can easily identify. Its very strange you developed measles like 3-4 times / year. I suggest you to do an antibody level test to detect hypogammaglobulinemia if its true you do contract the disease that frequent.
Regarding the dengue kit test, it depends on facility. Some clinics dont offer, some clinics do. Its advisable to look at level of total white count, hematocrit ( how viscious our blood is) and total platelets prior to the test. And not all the clinics are affordable to buy FBC machine. So with the rise of dengue cases, most doctors have low treshold to refer fever with rashes cases to higher centres which have more facilities to diagnose it. Remember the dengue virus are having their evolution now, the atypical presentation becoming more prominent now and ppl tend to miss this sign kalau kurang berpengalaman merawat dengue. It thrills me to the bone if i got a borderline case of fever with skin rashes with positive infectivity in the neighbourhood. I will refer straightaway.
