kek fondant mmg xleh masuk fridge. Ada kwn yg terjadi gitu dia lapkan fondant tu dgn towel pelan2, kira ok lah lepas tu.

fondant,gumpaste mmg tak boleh masuk peti ais. ada beberapa sebab dia berpeluh/cair dan berminyak, antaranya...
1. terlebih guna pewarna....seeloknya gunakan pewarna jenis paste
2. tangan kita berpeluh. Ada kawan lynn jenis ada penyakit kuat berpeluh, habis fondant dia lembik

kebetulan saya ada 'bermain' sikit dengan fondant baru2 ni. novice lagi ni.

from my experience, kalau setakat hiasan fondant (bukan yang salut seluruh kek dgn fondant) tak apa simpan dalam fridge. sebab i did just that, & they turned out ok.

kalau yang cover cake tu, mungkin akan ada sedikit condensation berlaku, sebab dari suhu sejuk ke suhu bilik yang agak panas kat negara kita ni, so akan ada 'sweating' sikit. cumanya, kalau biarkan for sometime kat udara lalu (macam kipas angin), moisture tu akan kering & hilang.

to overcome sweating ni, lepas keluarkan dari fridge, make sure kalau boleh, letak kek dalam bilik yang berhawa dingin, so that perubahan suhu tu gradual, tak mengejut.

kita buat project nih bulan julai yg lepas..lupa tepek sini

nih second and third attempt utk handle cream cheese frosting..[buat carrot cake punyer ceta lah nih]
konon nak buat smooth surface..siap buat crumb coat n sejukkan dulu
but still failed miserably..duhhh
sah sah kene gi amik class cake deco kak min nih

kemas kemas sgt kita tak retilahhhh...
kita suka comot2 jek
nampak artistik katanya...walauponnnn
lepas beberapa kali cuba nak bagi rata..still tak berjaya
so...contingency plan, camni lah jadiknya.. camouflage dgn carrot strings
no turning back dah nih

first cake punya design.. [kek ni acuan bunga kelopak 7]

ni plak second cake [kek nih guna acuan gegelang]

choc pon nk tunjuk hasil kek fondant pertama choc....choc amik kelas fondant cake chef asma di bwy, puchong.  Choc tpaksa guna 3 lapis fondant sbb time conteng2 atas layer ke-2 kek jadi comot....jadi nk kaber tpaksa choc layered kan selapis lagi...mau manis gat kek tuh....lepas dr tempahan nih choc nk join kelas bunga gum paste plak...insyaAllah selasa depan...biler dah tau rasanyer kita boleh create our own flower mengikut tema kek rather than berserah pada bunga yg siap di kedai.
