Tale of Three Sisters - Katoomba, Blue Mountains

Katoomba is the largest town in the Blue Mountains and is home to the famous Three Sisters. Legend has it that they were three beautiful young women who had fallen in love with three men from an Aboriginal tribe from the foothills.

Tribal lore prohibited the union, and a battle ensued. A witchdoctor turned the women to stone so they wouldn抰 be harmed, but he was killed and no one could undo the spell.

On our way back to the city, Glen the driver cum tour guide, took us to another must-see rock formation..
THE BOAR扴 HEAD..hehehe babi utan daaa..



interestingly, according to Glen, ppl tend to perceive the rock formation differently depending from where they come from, and i suppose dari different angles too...
some ppl, esp.those from China would say that they saw more of a dragon than a boar.. ada yg kata it looked like an eagle.

chi memang nampak this rock mcm boar's head.. n we can see the shadow tu macam dragon, kan???
n i can also see an alligator's head....

30th June 07 - ter-missed pulak..!!!
although chi ada turun Sydney every now n then.. this is the first time chi naik 'Sydney Explorer Bus'- cost us $39. Sydney Explorer include Red n Blue Bus. Red- tour around the city (27 Sydney's must-see stops), n Blue- Bondi beach ('Bon-Die'- 17 stops.. coastal tour.. beaches, ports of Pacific ocean). worth the money!!

it took us 4 hrs to reach Canberra ( Australia Capital Territory) via coach..
first day relax2 saja. coz we gotta prepare ourselves for Friday 6th July..
