i'm sorry, i wasn't saying she tried to sing in rnb thru out the song. but there are parts in the songs where she just sound so keras n kaku. yea so there was very good control of the low notes at the beginning. and like i've said she has got great energy in her voice but after the 2nd verse she just went "oh look mum! i can do this with my voice!" (and starts trying out different variations in singing styles and pronunciations.)
the song doesn't end after 3 minutes, my dear... there's nothing dynamic about trying too hard to impress... go take the cue from tok pah or ct or liza or aishah. they sing from start till the end without all those over the top vocal theatrics. a sprinter doesn't sprint for the first 50m and walk all the way to the finishing line, does he?

seriously, its such a confusion in the statement?? do u meant that ZZ should remain the same style for the second verse?? if that you totally wrong. becoz in singing there should be variation. the 1st verse and the 2nd verse cannot be the same as long as the way of singing is concern. otherwise it will be monotonous. you should have the imaginary H technique to make the song more lively.
about the sprinter, its a different cases. you can't make a comparison for 2 things which are totally different. how come you comparing durian and apple?? its doesn't make sense. In singing there should be variation of vocal technique. there must be rise and fall in the intonation. all the technique such trimolo, vibrato, Imaginary H, feel and primavento should be applied. |

n 2 my humble opinion, be just to Kak G la....she gave her moment best recording the song, using all her xpiriences, teknik wht so ever...
thus, s far s my ears are concenrs....she did bravo!

aku yakin album baru ZZ juga bakal meletup macam dulu...sbb tu dulu dia kate album baru dia ni nak sehabat puncak kasih dan semantap setiaku di sini. so sbb tu aku tak kesah ZZ lambat kuar album.bagi dia masa tuk hasilkan yang terbaik...melihat pada fenomena sekarang, aku teringat mase zaman ZZ mula2 nyanyi dulu.. lagu madah berhelah umpamanya, berentap ngan banyak lagu dari band n penyayi lelaki. the same thing happen pade dingin..lepas madah berhelah tewas, ZZ kuar ngan album yg boom....so aku harap ZZ masih dpt lakukannya lagi. terus org berebut2 beli... dlm masa 2 bulan, album terjual melebihi 165,000 unit 
-> ditambah pula dgn lagu2 lain yg best -> Setiaku Di Sini, Tiada Kepastian, Antara Ikhlas Dan Paksa, dll
penjualan album terus naik dan naik... melepasi 180,000 unit hingga kini...
ALBUM KEEMPAT - PUNCAK KASIH
-> first release lagu Puncak Kasih. Sambutan Orang -> awesome... sangat2 disukai
-> 2nd release lagu Berpisah Jua. Sambutan Orang -> wow... Puncak Kasih best, lagu ni pun best lah
awal2 lagi org ramai dah serbu beli album ni... dlm masa 2 bulan, album terjual melebihi 120,000 unit

-> selepas berbulan2 lagu Syurga Di Hati Kita popular, dan selepas org ramai asyik marah pasal album tak kuar2 lagi,
barulah album ni dikeluarkan...
-> single kedua agak perlahan sikit sambutannya  ... Penawar Semalu, tak byk radio yg sudi memutarkannya
-> lagu Kesuma Hati diputarkan di Era fm. Sambutan Orang -> 50/50... eeuuw apsal lirik berbunga2 sgt? mengarut2 
penjualan album adalah perlahan... dlm masa 2 bulan, album hanya terjual melebihi 40,000 unit
-> tak banyak lagu-lagu dalam album ni diputarkan di radio... dan tak banyak lagu yg disukai org
-> lagu yg sangat best Gementar Menghukum Kalbu tak dipromosi besar-besaran pun
-> diterukkan lagi dgn lagu Kedamaian. Sambutan Org -> eeeuuw apsal suara Ziana Zain semacam jer. mcm suara demam

tapi, tetiba jer Era fm edit/potong lagu ni sampai jadi kurengg ... kenapa Era, kenapa?
akibatnya lagu Menadah Gerimis tak dpt dihayati sepenuhnya oleh org ramai sebab diedit sebegitu...
radio-radio lain pun macam nak tak nak jer putarkan lagu best ini
-> 2nd release Cintamani. Sambutan Orang -> 50/50... eeuuw apsal lirik berbunga2 sgt nih
penjualan album adalah perlahan... dlm masa 2 bulan, album hanya terjual melebih 15,000 unit sahaja
-> lagu yg sangat best Terkenang Jua tak dipromosi besar-besaran pun
-> lagu Aku Cintakan Mu. Sambutan -> erk..  tak bestnya starting "Aku Cintaaaa" bergetar2  tak sesuaiiii...
kalau Ning Baizura nyanyi lagu style macam ni barulah sedap
-> lagu Lara. Sambutan -> 50/50 peminat setia suka, org lain kata "apsal suara Ziana Zain camtu?" lembut sgt tak best 
-> lagu Fatalistik. Sambutan -> 50/50 peminat setia suka, org lain kata "lagu best, tapi napa suara Ziana camtu?" tak best
-> tak banyak lagu-lagu dalam album ni diputarkan di radio... dan tak banyak lagu yg disukai org
-> hanya peminat setia je yg beli album ni... yg lain agak menjauhkan diri, kurang berminat...
penjualan album pun slow.. rasanya tak lepas 50,000 unit punn...

ok la i have to agree album setiaku disini dan puncak kasih mmg hebat dari segi vocal, lagu dan promosi.
ACM i think is a great album. what she did in ACM is fantastic. vocal mantap, gaya nyanyian yg lain bagi setiap lagu dan bersesuaian(this what i call dynamism, variation and suitable for the songs), she looks gorgeous on the cover. promotion wasn't that good thou. mungkin sbb her son was still very young then and she's still adjusting to being a mum n didn't go all out. nonetheless, i was shock she didnt win best vocal for ACM or best album (4 songs from ACM got to JL semis is no joke!).
so i hope zz look back on the quality of SKDS, Puncak n ACM.
don't come out with something like ZZ'99 - Syurga di hati kita was a hit but nothing else to offer.
or even worse, sembilu kasih - waktu tu zz dah lama takder lagu baru, skali kuar.... vokal hancur. what a disappointment.
of cos lembah asmara n dingin is way better than sembilu kasih but still not good enough. |

yeah i agree with you..actually, what ZZ trying to do now is to make a single and push it to radio so that it become popular. this the the nowadays style of promotion....and this is how ZZ want to test the market...from the single, i think she might come out with something bombastic, some other dimension of her style..its shows in the song called dirimu satu...i heard her perform this song live, and she was fantastic... |
