Plot

Intro dipaparkan koloni apes yg dikepalai Caesar (Andy Serkis, reprise his role, of coz..watak lain pnh dibw : Gollum dlm trilogy LOTR & King Kong) memburu rusa di hutan Muir.

(sikit info psl hutan ni sbb cantik sgt dgn bnyk pokok2 redwoods yg besar2 & tinggi2 :

Btw filem sekuel drpd Rise of The Planet of The Apes ni digambarkan 10 thn slps Caesar decide utk tinggal di hutan yg dipangilnya sbg rumah (home) drpd ‘ayah’ die, will (james franco).

Dlm tempoh ni apes yg bnyk2 drpd lab, pusat perlindungan spesis primate & zoo di san Francisco tlh berkembang biak di hutan ni. Caesar sendiri ade wife dgn anak teenage & newborn. Org2 kanan drpd lab & shelter dulu mcm Kabo (chimp), Maurice (orang utan), gorilla & sekor lg tu msh lg ada. Cuma tu lah Kabo ni yg bnyk buat kecoh.

Kehidupan manusia plak sejak virus yg disebarkan oleh apes ni melalui ciptaan manusia sendiri tlh semakin merebak ke seluruh dunia. Tp focus cerita of coz di kota san Francisco. Digambarkan san Francisco yg nmpk seakan2 mati dgn semak samun mula menghuni kota ni. Sekumpulan manusia yg manage utk survive drpd virus ni tlh ke hutan muir yg dihuni puak apes ni td utk dptkn bekalan elektrik drpd empangan di stesen janakuasa yg penh dibina di hutan ni. Group pertama manusia yg diketuai Malcom (Jason Clarke, Zero Dark Thirty) telah encounter dgn koloni apes ni & slh sorang team dorang tlh tertembak 1 of the apes. Ni adlh conversation pertama apes dgn manusia. Terperanjut beruk geng manusia ni bila dgr Caesar berckp. Btw mostly conversation among the apes adlh bhs isyarat Cuma diselang seli dgn percakapan dlm bhs manusia.

Mulanya geng manusia dihalau Caesar. Tp Malcolm decide utk bincang dgn Caesar sbb die tau Caesar & apes bkn calang2 primate. So team die dtg blik ke hutan Muir, bincang2 & ok. Approved. Tgh duk repair2 janakuasa ni, berlaku runtuhan dlm terowong kt situ. Part ni aku xphm. Kenapa mamat tu gi letup ms dorang msh lg dlm terowong tu. Mmg cari na’as. Lucky for them, Caesar & apes dtg membantu. 1st time & for more to come…yet.

Pd ms yg sama, Koba yg xpuas hati Caesar tolong manusia sbb die ada dendam pd manusia yg pnh jdkan die rat lab 10 thn dulu pegi senyap2 dgn 2 ekor lg apes ke san Francisco & dpt tau manusia ade gudang senjata. Balik ke Muir, die inform pd Caesar siap perangat lg apa yg manusia dh buat pd dorang, pd dia. Caesar hangin, bertumbuk dgn Koba. Start kt sini Koba berpaling tadah & xlg dengar arahan Caesar.
Koba die pegi semula ke san francisco & bunuh 2 guard di gudang tu & curi senapang kt situ. Dgn senapang ni die tembak Caesar sembunyi2 tp Caesar sempat nmpk die. Mlgnya Caesar jatuh & disangkakan mati oleh the apes tu semua. Koba take over colony & pegi san Francisco serang & tawan manusia.

Malcom & geng dlm cubaan bersembunyi dprd Koba terjumpa Caesar dicelah2 semak & bwk die ke san Francisco utk rawat luka ditembak. Otw tu, Caeser perasan rumah tmpt die tinggal dgn will dulu. So, dorang hide & rawat die kt sini. 2 scene yg bring memory back of him & will melalui gambar & rakaman video dorang (ade la nmpk james franco dlm filem ni drpd footage Rise of The Planet of The Apes). Touching moment jgk kt sini. Part ni jgk Caesar sedar bhw manusia tu sbnrnya baik dan apes sbnrnya yg memulakan kekecohan.

Once dh stable, Caesar pun encounter dgn Koba & apes lain yg antaranya follower die & ade yg ikut sbb takut (btw Koba dh bunuh 1 of the apes & dh langgar rule : Apes don’t kill other apes). So, berlaku la pertempuran antara team Koba & team Caesar. Final battle antara Caesar & Koba. Koba yg tetiba nk jd baik bila nyawa dihujung tanduk, tak diendahkan Caesar.

At the endnya, antara lain, Caesar bg tau Malcolm yg apes & manusia xkan berdamai. Sbb apes yg mulakannya & manusia sendiri takkan tunduk pd dorang.

Part last kamera focus tepat pd muka part mata Caesar…huhu…creepy siot. Dgn big screen di pwgm tu, bayangkanlah.

My Review

Jln cerita mantap sbg mana Rise sblm ni & jgk versi ke hadapan yg ada mark wahlberg tu. Lakonan mantap drpd setiap cast. Especially, of coz Caesar lakonan andy serkis. Lbh creepy yet amazing. Xlupa watak koba. Visual effects especially utk watak2 apes ni terus guna teknik performance capture mcm sblm ni. Tp kali ni nmpk lbh real. Nmpk mcm gabungan makeup dlm Planet of the Apes (Mark Wahlberg) dgn efek digital. Scene close up mmg real habis. Dgn emosi apes ni semua mmg kita blh rasa la. Part efek ni mmg better drpd Rise. Oscar worthy.

Dlm ni kita blh tgk mcmana dorang berevolusi smpi jd advance habis mcm dlm filem Mark Wahlberg tu. Dorang bercakap, guna senjata, berkeluarga, berhierarki, berperang, perthnkan hak. Dh mcm orang dah. Tp tulah, manusia yg cipta bhn2 yg buatkn dorang jd mcm ni sbnrnya. Cuma titik keseimbangan tu yg sukar & maybe xkn dpt dicapai.

Music score oleh Michael Giacchino (Up, drama bersiri Lost) mmg memberi. Part plg best ms ending credit. Maybe blh calon di Oscar kot utk best original score.

Dlm wiki ade sebut yg akn ada sambungan lg. Tarikh awal akn ditayangkan pd 29 July 2016.
Tu lah klu kita tgk dlm Planet of The Apes, dorang dh advance, jd tuan tanah. Buru manusia utk dijdkan hamba dorang and yg bdk2 dijdkan pet. So, kita blm tgk lg mcmana Caesar blh jdkn manusia ni plak sbg totally musuh apes. Look forward for more.

1. Andy Serkis as Caesar, a common chimpanzee whose intelligence is increased from inheriting ALZ-112 from his mother during her pregnancy, and who is raised by Will for eight years. He leads an ape revolution against humanity. The character is based on Caesar from Conquest of the Planet of the Apes and Battle for the Planet of the Apes of the original series.

Konoval also cameos as the court clerk whom Will briefly argues with about his appeal.

3. Terry Notary as Rocket, the dominant chimpanzee at the ape sanctuary, until Caesar overthrows him. His name references the set decorator of Planet of the Apes, Norman Rockett. Also as Bright Eyes, Caesar's mother who was captured in Africa. Her name is the nickname given to Charlton Heston's human character by Zira in the 1968 film.

4. Richard Ridings as Buck, a western lowland gorilla who pledges his allegiance to Caesar after he is freed by him. His name is a reference to Buck Kartalian, who played the gorilla Julius in the 1968 film and the gorilla Frank in Conquest of the Planet of the Apes.

5. Devyn Dalton as Cornelia, a female chimpanzee in the ape sanctuary. Her name is based on that of Cornelius, played by Roddy McDowall in the original Planet of the Apes.

6. Jay Caputo as Alpha, the dominant male chimpanzee of Bright Eyes' troop and Caesar's father.

7. Christopher Gordon as Koba, a scarred bonobo who has spent most of his life in laboratories and holds a grudge against humans. He is named Koba after an alias often used by Joseph Stalin.

8. Nick Thurston as Blue Eyes, Caesar and Cornelia's son.

dah tgk last week..

the only movie yang buat aku menangis untuk tahun ni...lum tgk the fault in our stars lagi..
aku pun tak paham kenapa aku menangis...huhu..tgk cite lain takde prasaan...tgk cite beruk jadi hati kuntum pulak.
maybe aku tgk rise of the planet of the apes yang ada james franco..
macam mana ceaser dibesarkan dengan penuh kasih syg.
humanity yang ade dalam ceaser dia bawak untuk bentuk keluarga yang baru di tempat yang baru..
dapat bezakan ceaser sgt rational dengan human sebab dibesarkan dengan penuh kasih syg..compare to koba yang kene torture masa dalam lab.
Dapat rasakan, ceaser rindukan tuan dia yang lama
masa ceaser suh singgah umah usang tu...dah agak tu umah ceaser yang lama...huhu..sedihnyeeee

Yup setuju x perlu la nak buat movie khas untuk cover gap 10 tahun wabak virus tu.

Baru gi tgk kelmarin. Overall mmg movie paling best in cinemas right now x macam transformers yg merapu tu. Cuma kalau nk kata minor slack for me personally ialah manusia dlm movie ni x brp sampai emotional level dia mcm movie james franco dulu and climactic scene dia pun x berapa sampai. Tak dpt dilupakan yg movie james franco dulu bila dia bisik "Caesar is home" tu meremang bulu roma tgk ending tu. Bulam puasa gk tu kalau x silap

1. cgi facial expression ape (siza, koba, moris, anak siza) mmg superb...

2. elemen touching, bisa membuat airmata mengalir...

3. music score, espeselly mase scene last2 tu...

yg x brape nk best/awkward moment/loophole:

1. awat koba sora negro afrika...negro2 x terhina kah...ape=negro....

sapa yg buat sora koba, kalu ikut yg blakon kerekter tu omputih...

2. scene ape nek kuda mmg lawak...

(kalu versi ape yg seakan human dlm movie PLANET of the APES-tim roth tu dah kurang lawak sbb nmpk mmg org yg nek kuda)..

3. koba naek kuda jump thru api marak...mmg brani YOLO kuda tu...

4. 1 je tanker dtg utk serang ape...
