KUALA LUMPUR, July 18 — The following is a transcript of conversations allegedly between Russian military intelligence and Ukrainian separatists that were intercepted by Ukraine’s spy agency in the moments after Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 was shot down.

Authorities have yet to verify what brought down the Amsterdam-Kuala Lumpur flight with 298 on board, but suspicion is focusing on the pro-Russian separatists who are believed to have fired an air-defence missile at the civilian airliner after mistaking it for a military transporter.
The first exchange is between one Igor Bezler, identified as Russian intelligence, and Vasili Geranin, a colonel in the Russian Federation separatist force.

Bezler: We have just shot down a plane. Group Minera. It fell down beyond Yenakievo (Donetsk Oblast).

Vasili Geranin: Pilots. Where are the pilots
Bezler: Gone to search for and photograph the plane. It’s smoking.



Geranin: How many minutes ago?

Bezler: About 30 minutes ago.

This is followed by a subsequent conversation between two separatist rebels identified by Ukrainian intelligence as “Grek” and “Major”, believed to be after an inspection of the crash site.

“Major”: These are Chernukhin folks who shot down the plane. From the Chernukhin check point. Those Cossacks who are based in Chernukhino

“Grek”: Yes, Major.

"Major": The plane fell apart in the air. In the area of Petropavlovskaya mine. The first “200” (code for dead bodies). We have found the first “200”. A Civilian.

“Greek”: Well, what do you have there?

Rebel: Regarding the plane shot down in the area of Snizhne-Torez. It’s a civilian one. Fell down near Grabove. There are lots of corpses of women and children. The Cossacks are out there looking at all this.

They say on TV it’s AN-26 transport plane, but they say it’s written Malaysia Airlines on the plane. What was it doing on Ukraine’s territory?

Kozitsin: That means they were carrying spies. They shouldn’t be f*cking flying here. There is a war going on.

MH17 was believed to have been shot down over eastern Ukraine by pro-Russian militants yesterday, killing all 298 people aboard, a Ukrainian interior ministry official said.

MAS said air traffic controllers lost contact with MH17 as it flew over eastern Ukraine towards the Russian border, bound for Asia with 283 passengers and 15 crew aboard.

MAS earlier maintained that the plane’s flight path over the restive area had been green-lighted by International Civil Aviation Organisation and International Air Transportation Association.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak earlier called the incident as a “tragic day in a tragic year for Malaysians”, in reference to the loss of another MAS plane, the still-missing MH370, that disappeared on March 8 with 239 on board.

It consists of a Target Acquisition Radar (TAR), a Transporter Erector Launcher And Radar (TELAR) and a Transporter Erector Launcher (TEL). It is not a hand-held or shoulder-launched missile one can buy for 50,000 USD from any arms dealer. It is a sophisticated piece of equipment used by States.

If the anti-Kiev forces did use such a system, then those who use a BUK-M1 know how to differentiate between a military aircraft and a civilian one. A trigger-happy pilot might not.

6. The South-Eastern anti-Kiev forces have stated categorically that their own missile systems do not operate above 10,000 feet, much less at over 30,000 feet.

7. Why was the aircraft flying over a war zone, where ten aircraft have been downed recently (4)?

8. If surface-to-air missiles create round holes in the fuselage of the target, and air-air missiles create arrow-shaped forms, then why does the MH 17 have arrow-shaped forms in the fuselage?

9. Why does the downed aircraft show cladding damage characteristic with pin and shrapnel warheads (air-to-air systems), much more characteristic of R-27 TOPOR or R-73 missiles used on the Ukraine military MIG-29 and SU-27 aircraft?

The answer to all these questions is a full and complete, objective investigation. Russia has stated this is a priority, the anti-Kiev forces in South-East Ukraine have stated this is a priority.

How can any serious western news outlet start a blame game before all these issues are investigated? Over 1,000 civilians have been murdered by the Kiev regime in recent months. Military hardware is being used against civilians (a NATO modus operandi). Just today, the Kiev Junta murdered 44 civilians (women, children included) and wounded 255 others, in Lugansk. Random shelling.

And a western "news" outlet runs a headline "Putin's missile". Apart from sheer, sh*t-headed stupidity by a like-headed outlet for like-headed readers, what a total lack of respect for the victims and their families, trying to score points from a tragedy. After Iraq, after Libya, after Syria, would anyone seriously rule out a NATO attempt to murder President Putin?

The answer is not a categorical YES, or NO. It is an investigation. One thing is clear: President Putin was not responsible, for which reason the British news outlet running that headline should be sued? Or lose its readership. Nah! Not in the UK. It will be seen as an authority.
