Bea to grace big screen again

KAPAMILYA young actress Bea Alonzo will work again with Grandslam best actress Lorna Tolentino in an upcoming movie.
Bea, who is currently shooting her upcoming primetime teleserye with Gretchen Barretto and the Universal Leading man Derek Ramsay, said she will again grace the big screen in "Sayo Lamang."
"I'll be working on a movie with a working title of "Sa 'Yo Lamang" which is directed by Laurice Guillen," she said in a television interview.
According to Bea the movie will be a family-drama and the next project of Guillen after the critically acclaimed film "Tanging Yaman."
"When I heard of the story I was so excited because this is something new to me," she said.
The actress added that she will be working again with Lorna, whom she shared the small screen during their 2002 hit primetime series "Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay (KTKH)."
KTKH was also the same soap opera which launched the career of Bea and her love team John Lloyd Cruz.
According to the actress, Coco Martin, Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales will also be part of "Sayo Lamang."
"I'm so happy because I can now feel that I'm slowly, breaking away from my kind characters, or the usual prim and proper role," she said.
Bea added: "I'm happy because somehow I've matured as an actress."
When asked on her advice to another Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin who is currently working with John Lloyd Cruz in a soap opera, Bea said to just enjoy working with Lloydie.
"The only thing I can advice to Angel is to enjoy every moment that she will work with John Lloyd because it's quite an experience working with him," she said.
"Miss You Like Crazy," the post-Valentine movie of Bea and John Lloyd under Star Cinema is still showing in selected movie houses nationwide.
