INFINITE continues their uptrending popularity with “Paradise”
INFINITE, who has experienced a tremendous surge in popularity lately and referred to as ‘trend-idols’, is forewarning an all-kill in the music industry with the release of their new song, “Paradise”.
On September 26th, INFINITE’s 1st repackaged album was released with 10 tracks from the original 1st official album and 3 new tracks – bringing up the total to 13 exciting songs that are sure to capture the hearts of music fans. With the release of the album, “Paradise” reached 2nd on Mnet, 1st on Olleh Music, 2nd on Soribada, 1st on Cyworld, and 2nd on Bugs Music.
Member Sungyeol showcases his rapping skills for the first time, and joins in on the Hoya and Dongwoo rapper line. The harmony of Sungyeol and Dongwoo’s rap make up the sentimental points of the song.

Woohyun: Our dorm is a mess.

Woohyun: It was originally a house that our CEO used to live in by himself. Back then, we had around about 12 male trainees and including the CEO himself, it was a total of 13 men living together in a house like this.
Seunggi: But if it was a house that your CEO lived in, wouldn’t it have been nice?
Woohyun: We have an entrance door, but we don’t have a fenced door.
Seunggi: You have an entrance door, but not a fenced door, so if you open the door, the street road is right there. It’s a very American style.
Woohyun: If we open the door, fans are literally right there, so we don’t really have any privacy. So that’s why whenever we open the door, we say out loud, “I’m going to open the door” as a forewarning. Since we’re all men living together, we tend to walk around in our boxers.
Hodong: What about the heater?
Woohyun: In the winter, our heater would break on and off, so we have to change it. It took us two months to get our heater changed. And during those two months, it was so cold.
Hodong: This summer, it rained a lot, right?
Woohyun: That’s a good question! Because there was so much of a downpour, the rain started seeping inside the dorm. So it led to our wallpaper getting wet and started peeling off of the walls. When we took off the wallpaper, cement dust would come off too.
Seunggi: I honestly think that instead of having Woohyun here with us today on Strong Heart, we should take him to the MBC show “We’ll Give You a House.”
Hodong: Have you ever tried talking to your CEO about changing dorms?
Woohyun: We did for about 100 times, but our CEO promised that after making our debut, if we get into the top 10 for a music program’s chart, he’ll change dorms for us. Our debut song “Come Back Again” was really a good song, we really thought this song would cause a hit, so we worked hard in that rain-seeping house and the members all huddled up and said that we’ll get in the top 10 and made our debut. However, we couldn’t get into the top 20. The results were so bad. We released our next album and our next album didn’t do so well either. We even released a digital single “Nothing’s Over” and after having released it, we landed 9th on the chart.
Everyone: They did it!
Woohyun: So all the members were all excited and thought we were finally moving. We called our CEO to tell him that we placed 9th and asked if we were moving dorms now, but he said “That was so long ago. Those are old standards.” He changed his plan in saying that if we landed Nothing’s Over into the top 5, he’d change dorms for us but unfortunately, we couldn’t get it there.
Boom: How far did you get to?
Woohyun: To 9th. We returned to our rain-seeping house and consoled each other that we can do better the next time. We can work harder and get into the top 5 next time. And we finally came back with “Be Mine.”
Hodong: Did he promise you in changing dorms?
Woohyun: We asked our CEO, “We’re releasing Be Mine soon and which place do we have to get in order to be able to move dorms?” He replied, “The song this time is so nice. Make it into 3rd.”
Boom: You did it!
Woohyun: But at the time, our seniors T-Ara, 2NE1, and Miss A were already promoting with Super Junior seniors to come back the following week. The rivalry opponents were too strong. We began to doubt ourselves if we could make it to 3rd place and finally, last week, we placed 1st!
Seunggi: I’m even happy for you.
Woohyun: We were so happy placing first and we cried so hard on stage.
Hodong: With such a dramatic story, I’m curious as to if they moved dorms or not.
Woohyun: That’s why all of us said to our CEO in unison, “We placed 1st.” He replied by saying, “I already signed the contract (for the new dorm).”
Hodong: What’s the best part about changing dorms?
Woohyun: The floors are marbled. There’s 2 bathrooms. The last 2 critical parts is that there’s an elevator and there’s a apartment guard who keeps packages on hold for us!
