While on the program Rowan was taunted by a group of girls led by Wollongong teenager Reveley - who could win the program tonight.
``We are particularly concerned about the influence on teenagers and young people,'' said Mr Rowan.
``It's already been done to some extent, but there is potential if she wins the show for her to be held up as an icon and that justifies bullying.''
In one episode, 16-year-old Reveley brought Byron beauty Rowan, 17, to tears by water bombing her and tipping water on her head.
Off screen, Rowan said the bullying was much worse, with Reveley and a couple of others putting condoms filled with mayonnaise in her bed and chilli in her breakfast.
Rowan would hide for hours under a desk to get away from them, he said.
Rowan said his daughter had planned to do a story on bullying with A Current Affair, but that it ``was canned by the producers against our wishes''.
Reveley herself featured on A Current Affair last week, playing down the incident.
``The story was done in a way that made Demelza look something of an angel,'' he said.
``Some of the judges from the show were minimising the bullying incident, saying it didn't really matter and Demelza's a fine person.
``That's not the position myself, my daughter and a significant number of professionals take.''
Rowan said his daughter was ``distressed'' but ``she feels because it has happened she does hope that this leads to a reduction in bullying and a public perception that this isn't OK.
``But that's been undermined by the behaviour of the show.''
