kita pun tidak perlu main cm Pakatan/DAPig yg menuduh sesiapa yang bercanggah dengan depa sebagai kuli batak..kita berkongsi pendapat dan bincang daripada label seseorant 'Pakatanese' atau 'Dubuk Singapura'..memangla ade org2 cmni jngan sampai orang
yg tak berkaitan pun kena.

..tapi tidak semstinya kite buta2 je layan projek2 kerajaan,...sememangnya ade orang akan ambil kesempatan dari projek berbilion macam ini tyapi itu boleh dipantau dan dikurankan kalau kita sebagai rakyat soal.
Setahu aku, RM6 billion adalah harga 'ceiling', jadi ade ruang untuk penjimatan atau sekurang2 nya pastikan Boustead memenuhi spesifikasi yang ditetapkan TLDM..tiada kompromi di sini!! harap toada FBNW kalau Boustead pegang pada komitmen perjanjian projek ini!! |

Marhamim Abbas ni memangla biasa skeptik dan hujah2 boleh dikatakan common sense dan kebimbangan beliau semua berakar umbi kepada krisis PSCI di zaman gelap Amin Shah. Beliau pastu dah jenuh saksi satu satu projek kerajaan tergendala dan merugikan.
Kenapa ya kita tidak beli atau bina sahaja kapal kelas FAC?Kapal Kelas laksamana tidak dapat dinafikan setanding dan lebih baik dari kelas Kasturi dan Lekiu. Tgk spec endurance/jarak operasi FAC kurang 100m lebih kurang sama kapal corvette/PV besar/light frigate, bezanya tidak banyak.
Untung kalau BN ada satu design FAC yang boleh dibina untuk spec TLDM dan MMEA!

Yes, I understand the navy need new ships and WARS happen due to illogical reasons and therefore we need to be prepare for it but the fact remains our Armed Forces are under funded'.

On 13 December 2010, both production teams extended their current contract prices until December 30 in order to enable to Navy to push through Congressional headwinds. If the Navy fails to achieve approval by that date it will be forced to award only one of the two contracts. The Navy has apparently budgeted $490 million per ship for the 20 ships, while the Congressional Budget Office has projected a cost of $591 million per ship.[55][56] Navy acquisition chief Sean Stackley testified to a Senate panel that the actual price range was $440 to $460 million.[57]
On 29 December 2010, Lockheed Martin and Austal USA received contracts to build more Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) for the U.S. Navy. The new contracts give each shipbuilding team one ship to build now, with another in 2011. Two more per year for each team will follow in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. The contract for Lockheed's ship, the yet-to-be-named LCS 5, is for $437 million. The contract for LCS 6, Austal USA's ship, is for $432 million. The contract awards were announced one day before the prices were to expire. Sean Stackley, the Navy's top weapons buyer, in a conversation with reporters on 29 December 2010 noted that the LCS program was now well within the Congressional cost cap of $480 million per ship. The average per-ship target price for Lockheed ships is $362 million, Stackley said, with a goal of $352 million for each Austal ship. Government-furnished equipment (GFE), such as weapons, add about $25 million to each ship. Another $20 million is figured in for change orders, and a "management reserve" is also included. All told, Stackley said, the average cost to buy an LCS should be between $430 million and $440 million[58].
