sukar adik saya nak dapat cuti! dahlah johor sekolah cuti jumaat..adik saya pula cuti ahad sebab swasta. saya sedang buatkn appointmt dengan weorang pakar kanak2. masih tk dapat date yg xia bolreh cuti |

pasal cuti tu...usahakan...think that the child is a priority cz lebih cepat dapat diagnose, lebih cepat boleh buat planning to help him. ingat tak ada budak yg over pandai zaman dulu2 nama hadafi ke apa..boleh baca at v young age..i baca kat paper that dia jd penebar roti canai (masa artikel tu ditulis) tak tau skrg dia buat apa what i am trying to say is that... sungguh .sayang sb he is v bright but...nasib dia tak baik tak da orang yg really "jaga" dia..
cerita sy pulak, to tell u the truth, i resign from my job buat my own business sb nak concentrate on my children (once dah confirm dia dyslexic sb tau banyak benda kena buat n difficult to cuti sb i dulu work at public listed co direct w ceo)... and i felt guilty sb masa bekerja tak boleh concentrate fully. kami bekorban as a family ..

terharu saya membaca cerita awak. pengorbanan seorang ibu... secara kebetulan ..adik saya pun dh mula cakap psal berhenti kerja. mmg tak mudah maklumlah sekarang semua perlu duit! |

saya dh buat appointment hari sabtu 14 feb ni dgn pakar kanak2 di sini. sebb kami pilih org ni ..dia bole assess eham dlm sehari. maknanya dari pagi. parents pun kena assess...isk btl ke ejaan saya ni. dia suh bawak kerja sekolah eham skali...n make sure eham relaks masa perjumpaan tu nnt. |

mungkin puan boleh berkongsi cerita tentang pengalaman puan mrmpunyai anak dyslexia. apa tanda2 dyslexic masa baby..bagaimana puan detect dan mcm2 lg. ramai nak tau juga |

alhamdulillah dapat appt dlm masa terdekat utk jumpa pakar tu for the evaluation. you are very lucky! my son pun dulu evaluation done in one day n took a few hours. before test tu, parents klu boleh note down everything yg terfikir / observed tentang anak, so masa jumpa pakar tu tak lupa..every minute things pun worth to remember. (contoh umur berapa eham mula berdiri/berjalan/bercakap..whther he looks into yr eyes ke etc etc apa hobby dia, is he obsessed with something eg: my son suka main lego...klu main dgn toys dia akan susun ikut barisan etc etc
yes, its important to get him to relax and be himself on that day..dont tell him its a test but just a santai thingy nanti dia rasa takut that something is wrong w him. bring something yg dia comfortable with, buku/toys etc i dulu cakap dgn my son that test is for him to go to school yg awesome...dia excited la. lepas test tu dia dapat aiskrim..
tentang berhenti kerja tu, mmg v worth it but need a lot of preparation and sacrifice. I took a year to actually execute "exit plan". Our strategy includes:
1. sold off some of our properties to prepare our financial situation ie seorang saja yg bekerja instead of two incomes...
2. minimize hutang or settlekan hutang (use epf to pay off house loan etc)
3. totally potong credit card so tak buat hutang baru n only pay cash for purchase. jadi kita prepare ourselves to live on our planned income.
4. train anak2 supaya jimat cermat jugak hehe
5. buat business sendiri klu boleh (tu tuan punya diri kena tengok diri dia)
in other words fully prepare youself and family for the eventualities. both parents kena banyak bincang and planning la.
insyaallah nanti sy tulis camna sy dpt observed anak sy ada sympthom dyslexia pulak.

Yealah banyak kena fikir kan.
Puan animcute tinggal di mana? Senang ke nak dapat facilities untuk anak puan tu?
Adik saya kata kalau susah2 dia nak pindah kl, sebab sini banyak sekolah yang mungkin sesuai untuk eham.
Tapi tengok dulu assessment nanti macam mana,
Saya pernah suggest adik saya bisness kek kat sini , dia pandai buat kek.
Tapi tak tau la macam mana nanti.

Sekadar nak berkongsi kisah eham tadi.
Mereka satu family keluar pergi shopping tadi persiapan untuk baju raya.
Keluar dari kedai kain, mama eham ajak masuk kedai ariani (kedai tudung)
Mama dia pun belek la tudung ariani yang cantik2 tu.
Anak2 dan suami merayau2 sekitar kedai - tak ramai orang di kedai.
Tiba2 Eham bercakap dengan nada yang kuat..Mama, this shop is very expensive! No wonder nobody comes here!
Hehe...terbeliak mata Mama dia takut tuan kedai marah.
Papa eham cepat2 cover ..expensive but the quality of the tudung is very good !

i dont have any experience in this unique case but i rasa,standard syllabus sekolah anak buah you tu x setaraf dgn cara pemikiran dia...that is why dia jadi boring..he wants to share his knowledge(in his case very good with english)but no one wants to listened,instead,people looked at him as a problematic child..
no,a child like him are special and gifted,which his parents kena stimulate his mind with right and proper style of teachings..byk learning style nowadays,kita kena pandai cari,usaha klu nak nampak hasilnya..i x galakkan bertanya dgn cikgu2 dkt sekolah dia lah ye sbb bila cikgu dah stated dia bermasalah,maknanya cikgu tu x faham character budak mcm ni..x tau nak handle..
i takut,klu continue duk dgn current school,nnt dia x peduli psl belajar sbb dia dah stated his opinion,bosan..mungkin to some,budak2 suka bg excuses..but trust me,klu kita x buat sesuatu about this susah lah nak hadap masa depan nnt sbb dia makin membesar,takut nnt masalah lain yg timbul..
dia minat apa?robotics?games?building legos? |

anak buah you ni mengingatkan i psl experience anak2 i bersekolah di luar..
cikgu2 suka challenged children's mind,bg topic then discuss..
hari2 cikgu akan bawa current issues to be discussed in class,ni class in year 3,circa 7 years old (aged 3 dh started school)..jgn kata budak,i yg dewasa ni pon suka dgr bila anak2 balik dan cerita about their daily discussion in class..
i rasa klu anak buah you dpt environment mcm ni mungkin dia x bosan..x rigid dgn buku,standard written texts with questions and answers..something challenging to his mind...

I agree dgn apa forummers lain ckp, he's a very special child. Takut kalau biarkan aje in the same school, dia jadi demotivated or bored.
Maybe kalau you boleh observe & dpt tau his learning style pun ok jugak. Then from there boleh tolong adik you plan his learning activities at home.

eham minat dinasours, star wars..robocop seingat saya la. klau cerita psl dinasours...dia boleh cerita a-z. sampaikn lagu linkin park dgn evanesance pun dia tau...dia tau lagu tu pasal dinasours. selama ni saya ingat lagu tu psl cinta hehe |
