Breaking News : Najib's Six Bank Accounts Frozen. Warrant of arrest next?

Special task force freezes six accounts linked to Najib-WSJ probe
Six bank accounts linked to the allegations of the channelling of funds to Malaysian PM Najib have been frozen.
In a joint statement, the special task force which was formed to probe the allegations, stated that the order to freeze the accounts was issued on July 6.
The statement was issued jointly by Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail, Bank Negara Malaysia Governor Tan Sri Zeti Akhtar Aziz, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar and Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief commissioner Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed.

Several documents pertaining to not complying with Bank Negara Malaysia's rules and procedures were also seized," the statement said.

My comments : If the accounts are frozen then shouldnt the passport of the account holder also be frozen? O'wise people may flee the country.
If there is wrongdoing then warrants of arrest must be issued (Several documents pertaining to not complying with Bank Negara Malaysia's rules and procedures were also seized," the statement said.)

dalam sarawak report yg kesah gambar jho low itu, mereka lebih bashed kan jho low yg conned kan najib, if anything dlm artikel itu najib pegang watak bimbo kena conned

Unless the balance of power in UMNO has already shifted, then Ops KabberUp will proceed.
If (by some miracle) justice is done and Hang Tadakbiji gets punished and removed, then we will have the hilarious sight of a certain Javanese ape performing acrobatics in the branches of the UMNO tree, to "re-align" his loyalties with the winning side and grab the TPM position.
The man is 100% shameless.

I am quite sceptic on this Tuan Syed...I am wondering:
- to whom does AG report to?
- to whom will Zety report to?
- to whom will IGP report to?
- to whom then MACC report to?
It seems that all of the above will be going to same person. So, will the result favor him..or the result will be tampered to save him? Wondering how this people will be independent and acting without fear or favor with him still around helming the country...

no matter how i read this, it sounds more like accounts that are linking to 1man have been freezed and not 1man account.
back to square one, working real hard to erase 1man tracks.
sorry i just cant help to think that these so called authorities are worth the trust because they have been betraying their authority for far too long. I still wonder how you can be that optimistic.

If nothing else, for once we are getting first world type of investigation and announcement of an alleged high-level wrongdoing -well done!. But what will follow from all this? I've seen too many third world instances of deflection, diversion and cover-up in the past to believe any crony, let alone Najib, will be prosecuted. I hope to be wrong though. One never know, the good people at AG/BNM/PDRM/MACC might just have a sudden awakening of conscience to say enough is enough, then this beloved country will enter a new invigorating phase. Ameen.

Only three of the six accounts belong to Najib.
Bank accounts of company belonging to V*liram (a director of 1MDB) also frozen.
Workers have not been paid salaries.
