Ni my butter cake buat dua hari lepas (sorry bukan new resepi still the old one jer)
1 cawan gula
2 cawan tepung
250 g butter
essen vanilla
fresh milk (dlm 1/2 cup)
Buat mcm kek biasa tu -- bakar dlm 300F (C tak taulah berapa) .. for 1 jam 20 minit. |

300 deg F is equiv to 148.88889 deg C, lebih kurang 150 deg C lah tu. lama jugak ye dar, sejam lebih.
so kek dar ni eggless lah ye, tak nampak pun ingredient telur. meaning you beat the butter & sugar sampai fluffy, then alternate the flour & milk ke?
recently i made kek nestum chanel, memang sedap. nanti i will share pics. |

sorry lambat reply, gambar kat hubby's handphone, tu yang lambat.
kek nestum saya tak lah berderai, tapi saya ada 'cheated' sikit in using the recipe, tak sure if that was the reason tak berderai.
butter yang saya ada tak sampai 240g macam dalam resipi chanel tu, it was only abt 220g. so, i added a bit of canola oil to complete the recipe (maaf ya chanel). tak pasti if the oil menyebabkan tak berderai or what. & telur saya ingat cukup kat rumah, bukak fridge ada 3 biji je, so sebab dah halfway buat, terpakse make do with only 3 nos of eggs
gambar ni pun kek dah nak habis makan baru teringat nak snap. spt biasa, camera cap ayam, tak cantik.
tapi kek ni memang sedap sgt, everyone should try baking it! next time i will follow the recipe to the T, kena make sure everything cukup.

kek nestum chanel - berderai (TIPS)
i made chanel's nestum cake again today, and again, tak berderai. actually, kali ni lebih 'kejap' & kemas texture nya.
i think i know apa punca kek nestum ni berderai for some others yg tried.
perasan tak chanel ada mentioned, 'jgn overbeat' butter & sugar. so, masa 1st attempt tu, saya tak overbeat butter & sugar, tapi i used whisk to mix the nestum.
kali kedua yg saya buat today, i stopped beating after masukkan eggs. lepas tu memang mix nestum guna spatula, then tepung & milk. kacau lemah lembut.
hasilnya, kek cubaan kedua ni lebih kemas & sikit pun tak berderai. |

semalam buatla buttercake ikut resepi darcta dan cara mclaren tp saya tambah 2 titik orange oil dan taburkan
kismis dan badam cincang diatasnya. kismis mendap ke bawah tp badam masih ada sikit2 tinggal di atas.
keknya mmg sedap tp berderai. kenapa yek?

guna resipi dar tapi cara saya? i think if guna resipi dar kena lah ikut cara dia.
yg tips saya bagi kat atas tu utk kek nestum chanel yg ada a few komen berderai, sebab chanel specifically mentioned jgn overbeat.
kalau kek dar tu, kena tanya dar step by step how she did it. pukul brp lama etc. dar.. oh dar..

tiap2 minggu kejenya asik mengetest membuat buttercake ikut bermacam resepi dan cara
dari berbagai forum. lama2 dah jadik pening |

Walaupun berderai, tapi kek ni nampak cantiklah sebab warna dia sekata, u bakar guna oven jenis ape?
Ni pulak butter cake yang I buat last week, resepi ambil kat magazine. Texture cake ni kira ok, cuma yg I geram kat bontot kek tu cam terhangus sket. Next time nak kena adjust temp... kalau ikut resepi kena bake selama satu jam at 180c.

semalam teringin buat butter cake bebop tp butter xda, instead ada margarine brand Toucan tu jek.. so make do with the margarine n on top of that i tambah fresh milk dlm 50ml and kasi taruk coklat urai tu.. marvellous!
