Formidable Lin Dan proves to be a handful for Chong Wei
KUALA LUMPUR: China抯 Lin Dan proved yet again that he belongs to a rare breed of men抯 singles player in world badminton by winning the China Open title even though he has been out of competition for three months.
And that is something that Malaysia抯 Lee Chong Wei will find it difficult to match if his past results are anything to go by.

BAM have started selling tickets for Malaysian Open
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia have already started their promotion campaign for the first leg of the Super Series next year even though this season抯 action is nearing its climax.
The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM), the hosts for the Proton Malaysian Open, have started selling for the championships scheduled for Jan 6-11 at the Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalail.
There is a special concession for students who will get to purchase a ticket for the quarter-final and semi-final action for RM10. And they just need to fork out RM13 for the final day.
Ticket prices for others have been priced between RM15 and RM45 from the quarter-final stage.
Tickets can be purchased at several official agents and counters of the Axcess Tickets, who hold the rights for the sales of the tickets.
The Axcess Tickets hotline number is 03-77115000 or they can be reached at [email protected]. Online booking can also be done at www.axcess.com.my.
This season抯 finale, the inaugural Super Series Masters Finals, will be held in Kota Kinabalu from Dec 18-21.
The final leg of a 12-round series begins tomorrow in Hong Kong.

macam ada something wrong je & 'orang2 atas' tu macam tak alert ngan hal ni..
bukan je diorang biarkan je, tapi turut tambahkan 'beban' kat LCW.. sian sangat2! 
harap2 pak misbun dapat terus bagi semangat kat LCW.. mental & emosi..
kalau rasa2 macam down sangat tu, harap pak misbun bagi aa LCW bercuti sat.. |

chongwei kata dia selesa ngan psychiatrist tu sbb boleh ckap dialect dia ..hokkien kot ...

Old knee injury haunts Chong Wei at HK Open

KUALA LUMPUR: A recurrent knee injury has forced Malaysia抯 Lee Chong Wei to withdraw from two tournaments.
The world number one conceded a walkover to Germany抯 Marc Zwiebler in the first round of the Hong Kong Open yesterday and he would make a quick return home.
Chong Wei has also made up his mind to skip the premier local tournament, the National Grand Prix Finals, scheduled for Dec 9-13 in Alor Star. With the decision, he will skip the chance to go one better on the record of six national titles he shares with his coach and mentor, Misbun Sidek.
Chong Wei, who crashed to yet another tame defeat by Olympic gold medallist Lin Dan in the China Open final in Shanghai last Sunday, said that he did not want to risk aggravating the injury.
揑 picked it up during the China Open. It is an old injury but it is not serious. My coach and I felt that it was best that I give this Hong Kong Open a miss, |
