Teori Big Bang : Update - Damaged to new collider -

Education in Malaysia, for me, really wants student to 'know everything'. Some argue that the ministry kind of 'dump in' every thing for students to learn so that they know how different fields in academic look like. While this idea can be really interesting, in my opinion, ministry has done it poorly. As they try to equip students with as much knowledge as they could, students use way too much time 'knowing things' than 'understanding things'. For teachers, the fear of being left behind from guided schedule make them 'throwing out syllabus' in class rather than really teaching us.

The impact starts to emerge.

Now, SPM graduates, as atomic said, is a database of formulae with capacity of storing data diminishes every day. After half a year of holiday, they could forget every thing. Apparently, since deep understanding on certain concepts was not stressed in SPM exam, non of SPM graduates are well-equipped with that.

tujuan sebenar Large Hadron Collider dibina  antaranya utk menguji kewujudan higgs boson, zarah hipotetik yg memberikan jirim(berat) pada semua benda. semuanya berasal dari Standard Model yg diterima pakai oleh majoriti ahli fizik yg mengatakan 4 daya asas: elektromagnetik disebabkan oleh photon, strong force yg mengikat hadron(proton dan neutron) di nukleas atom disebabkan oleh gluon, weak force yg menyebabkan uraian nukleas disebabkan zarah W dan Z, daya graviti disebabkan oleh graviton. jika sekiranya higgs boson gagal ditemui maka ada dua teori lain Technicolor dan top quark condensate mungkin akan berjaya menggantikan teori higgs mechanism. pada masa ini ada berpuluh2 teori muncul yg bertentangan antara satu sama lain dalam menerangkan 4 daya asas. quantum mekanik itu sendiri bertentangan dgn teori general relativity einstein dan diharap LHC ini mampu memberi penemuan baru yg membolehkan fenomena quantum dan relaiviti ini diterangkan oleh satu teori lain yg lebih menyeluruh. keraguan mengenai aspek keselamatan LHC  pada mulanya dikemukan oleh Otto Rosler seorang ahli kimia. kertas kerjanya mengenai  micro black hole meliputi pengiraan aspek general relativiti dan tak ada kena mengena dgn operasi LHC. seorang lagi astrofizik jerman rainer plaga mengutarakan kertas kerja mengenai keselamatan LHC terhadap Hawking radiation. Namun begitu pengiraanya agak tidak tepat dan disangkal beberapa ahli fizik. akhbar2 tabloid memainkan peranan yg besar dlm mengembar-gemburkan cerita doomsday setelah kes ini dicabar di mahkamah US dan Eropah.

really, people come out with a very tempting argument of what LHC might cause without considering the very detail mechanism of the machine.

they argue that similar to that of several seconds after big bang, LHC is performing comparable nuclear reaction and blindly from this, mass media reported that LHC creates a new Big Bang.

If I had never learnt physics before, I would fall into this 'myth' too.

As I said, early universe was hot, there was inflation, the stretch of space-time at super rapid scale, and others. Simply colliding 2 nucleus together on Earth won't create a Big Bang, I suppose.

colliding proton at the speed of 0.99c =/ nuclear reaction...lol
