For GTV's new idol drama "加油！蛋炒飯" (Jia You! Dan Chao Fan), Fahrenheit's Arron Yan had to learn how to cook. He learned how to cut up lobsters and fry food. It is quite risky because of the actual fire. Therefore, his company bought a $20,000,000 insurance to protect his face.
"Jia You! Dan Chao Fan" makes a final decision of Jiro Wang and Arron Yan being the main leads. The female lead is a newcomer. In the drama, Jiro is very poor and will only buy egg-fried rice. On the other hand, Arron is the son of an upper-class family. At the age of 14, he won the champion award in a cooking competition. He uses one knife for everything and while cooking, he has a habit of listening to symphony music.
Arron is a cooking talent in the drama. In reality, Arron can only cook one dish, which is tomato and egg fried rice. His mother is still filled with anticipation to try it. She unexpectedly found egg shell in it and embarassed Arron wanted to hide under the table. He said he had always helped his mother wash the vegetables and crack the eggs. For his drama, he started his training by cutting onions. He had cut 20 onions in total and much tears were flowing down.
Yesterday Arron practiced cutting up lobsters. He used six lobsters in just one afternoon. One of the dishes required expensive ingredients valuing over $3,000. Because of Arron's poor skills, the crew only allowed him to use white flour as a substitute.
