SCDF 'Red Rhino' collides with taxi, 1 killed
SINGAPORE : Three Civil Defence officers on their way to put out a fire met with an accident on Monday.
Their vehicle - a 'Red Rhino'- collided with a taxi along Choa Chu Kang Drive, killing a female passenger.
Officers said this was the first fatal accident involving the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
The collision wrecked one of the taxi's doors and killed a Malay passenger in her fifties.
Her companions, a woman in her thirties and a two-year-old girl, were taken to the National University Hospital.
Mr Alex Wong, an eyewitness, said one of the taxi passengers was trapped in the vehicle and was rescued by the Civil Defence personnel.
The taxi driver sustained only cuts and bruises.
The three Civil Defence officers on board the "Red Rhino" were unhurt.
The taxi driver said he had picked up the female passengers from Lot 1 Shopping Centre and were heading to Taman Jurong when the accident occurred.
The SCDF said the collision occurred when the 'Red Rhino', which had its siren and flashing lights on, was heading to Sungei Kadut to put out a factory fire.
Police are now investigating the cause of the accident. - CNA/de |

famili kakak ipar aku dihantar oleh ambulance to CGH.. kakak ipar aku cakap last month anak dia admitted kat sini pasal denggi.. bill insurance covered.. dia satu famili ada insurance.. so dia mintak ward B1.. CGH cakap:"you want B1..go home take money.. deposit.. then i give you B1".. aku tgh tunggu respon dari CGH bila new paper kata dia akan publish this statement

akhbar tu aku ada tapi belum baca lah..
