memang betul kata dia orang tu. LAX ni besar dan ramai orang, that's why. but, kalau you jenis yang very organize, know that to do and looking for, tak mudah menggelabah, and will do some research on a place before going there, there shouldn't be a problem. LAX is just like any other busy international airports.

if you have a lot of transit time, you should be fine. but, kalau less than 3 hours, fikir dua kali ler. same goes dengan SFO. sebab check-in untuk international flights, you need to be at the airport at least 3 hours before your departure time - recommendation dari airlines and TSA (transportation security administration of us department of homeland security). so, kalau boleh overnight kalau you nak jalan-jalan, that's even better. by the way, area LAX and SFO ni sejuk sikit, even in the summer (for malaysian standard).

Nak tambah.... Tak dibenarkan bawa pokok2 dan hidupan yg bukan California's native ke California dari samaada international atau other state borders.. Ini utk elakkan kemasukan pests secara tak sengaja yg boleh menyerang CA agriculture, terutama pokok2 citrus dan avocado... Untuk makanan yg sudah dimasak, tak ada masalah |

Alang2 dah sampai las vegas, pergi grand canyon di arizona... 4 jam aje dari LV... Bertolak awal pagi, boleh tengok sunrise di desert, nak balik hari, bertolak petang dari GC... Sunset di gurun amat cantik |

grand canyon...so beautiful. dah lama tak pergi sana...lama sangat. masa tu, universal studio masih ada "back to the future" ride...very popular. tak tau ler sekarang masih ada ke tak.

Jim Harbaugh really turned the team around...to a better team...I was supporting 49ers tau during the playoffs....unlike Chargers here, Norv Turner and AJ Smith argghhhhh, lots of Chargers fan marah when the org. announced both of them will stay for the next season :@...Being San Diego fan is sucks right now...baik football atau baseball...pathetic teams! but then, I'll always support them through good and bad times (walau hati kekadang panas membara  )

Rasanya strict tu tak la jugak, cuma betul2 ikut S.O.P , ada la beberapa level tapisan keselamatan, kalau kita ikut procedure dan tak langgar peraturan mmg xda masalah.kalau kita ada masalah atau suspek penganas time nak dapat visa tu pun dah gagal.Kes bukak kasut tu mmg biasa kat mana2 airport, mcm perempuan bertudung immi wanita dia akan raba check kalau2 ada barang2 terlarang dlm baju.
pengalaman dgn immi sana mmg ada, kena marah sebab tak keluarkan laptop dari begpack semasa scan.tu memang salah i la sebab terlupa.marah pun bukannya tengking cuma bertanya kenapa tak keluarkan, mmg cuak juga la time tu.Pastu immi tu check sendiri backpack tu & keluarkan laptop kemudian dia sendiri gi scan semula kemudian baru bagi balik kat I.settle kat situ ja la.
Nak selesa tak ada masalah jangan la bawak benda2 yang menyerupai bahan2 yang terlarang.sebagai contoh belacan ketul yg menyerupai mcm bahan bom.jenuh la my friend nak terangkan yg itu shrimp paste. orang kat sana tak tau tu apa.siap makan depan depan dia baru dia caya. |

not sure you can transfer your visa from one passport to another. but, you should still be able to use your visa as long as it's still valid.
when my passport ran out of pages and my kiwi visa was still valid (and i wanted to keep it), i mentioned that to immigration officer when i renewed my passport. what they did, they stapled the passport together (new passport on top of old one) and they wrote a notice in new passport saying that there's a valid kiwi visa in old passport, stated the page, etc. so, when i entered new zealand, i just showed them that page as needed.
so, talk to immigration officer about your US visa when you renew your passport.

hi hetrek. not sure about protocol. rasanya, asalkan kemas, nampak professional, okay kot - pakai macam nak pergi kerja. yang penting, bawa semua dokumen yang diperlukan, just in case mereka nak tengok. sometimes, mereka mungkin tak tengok langsung. but, be prepared.

i thought the same too sebab US ni tak kisah sangat. pergi ofis pun selamba aje orang-orang kat sini pakai shorts and slippers, except for top management ler or kalau kena deal directly dengan clients.
i never had to go through an interview for US visa. so tak sure, especially di malaysia, macamana.
