Pro-Umno website MyKMU.net today removed its article saying SRC International managing director Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil denied RM2.6 billion was channelled into Datuk Seri Najib Razak's personal accounts, several hours after it was uploaded.

Citing an anonymous source, the website said in an article today that Nik Faisal told the task force investigating the case that the money was not for the prime minister and was not related to 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).

But the article was removed with a short note from the editorial stating it would await the results of the task force's investigation before publishing such reports.

"Following the request from several quarters, including a source close to Nik Faisal himself, we have removed the article pending the completion of the task force's investigation," wrote the website's editors.
The report stated that Nik Faisal said the accounts involved belonged to him, and that he may initiate legal action against those who leaked his letter to AmBank and the bank account details.

MyKMU.net also said the task force had visited his home to retrieve documents from him.

SRC International was formerly a subsidiary of 1MDB until it was "de-merged" in 2012.

The Wall Street Journal reported that SRC International, Ihsan Perdana, and Gandingan Mentari allegedly funnelled some US$11.1 million (RM42 million) to Najib's personal accounts in AmBank Private Banking in Malaysia.

A task force consisting of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, police and Bank Negara Malaysia raided the three firms on Friday. The task force is now going through the documents taken from their premises.

Sources told The Malaysian Insider that two of the bank accounts frozen by the task force belong to SRC International and Ihsan Perdana, while another three belong to Najib.

The order to freeze the six accounts was issued on Monday, the task force said.

It has also seized documents linked to 17 bank accounts at two banks for further investigation.

The freeze and seizures were related to the non-compliance of Bank Negara rules by the said banks, said the task force

The authorities' action was believed to be related to reports by the WSJ and whistleblower site Sarawak Report.

The WSJ cited documents that allegedly show some US$700 million (RM2.67 billion) being moved among government agencies, banks and entities linked to 1MDB and finally ending up in the prime minister's personal accounts in five separate deposits.

Najib refuted the allegations and said it was a political ploy engineered by his opponents, including former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

The New York-based publication insisted that their investigation was based on solid documentation. – July 8, 2015.

The murder of Hussain Ahmad Najadi has no connection with 1MDB: IGP

BY HARIZ MOHD - 8 JULY 2015 @ 12:55 PM KUALA LUMPUR: Police denies that the murder of Hussain Ahmad Najadi was connected to the 1Malaysia Development Bhd funds issue.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the allegation, published on a blog recently, was untrue and police are investigating its source.

"This report published by a blog, claiming that the 1MDB investigation is linked to Hussain Ahmad Najadi's murder, is an irresponsible act.

"The person behind this intentionally spreads false and slanderous news, and we are investigating this matter.

"There was no connection between the murder case and 1MDB probe. No connection whatsoever," he told reporters during a press conference, here, today. Khalid also shot down a claim that Hussain, who was the first managing director and chief executive officer of Arab-Malaysian Development Bank (now known as AmBank), had lodged a police report on a bank deposit activity into Bank Negara three days before his murder.

"I hereby confirms that there was no police report lodged by Hussain, who was said had done so on July 26 (two years ago), before he was killed." He said police are working to identify the person responsible behind the false claims, as well as those who spread them to the public.

Rosmah Mansor is finding solace in prayer as allegations and criticisms rain on her husband, Prime Minister Najib Razak.
"We leave it to Allah, that is most important," she told Malaysiakini when met at the sidelines of a function in Malacca.
Stressing that she could only pray during this difficult time, Rosmah reminded Muslims of respecting the holy month of Ramadan.
"This is a good day, a holy month, let us not slander each other. This is what the Quran teaches us.
"We leave it to Allah. We can only pray," she added.

1. Saya dicela oleh Anifah Aman, Menteri Luar kerana memalukan negara dengan ditemubual oleh akhbar Amerika “The New York Times”.

The Wolf of Wall Street”.

English Version
NATIONAL SHAME

1. I had been rebuked by Anifah Aman, the Foreign Minister for having embarassed the country by being interviewed by an American newspaper “The New York Times”.

2. Maybe Anifah had never read American newspapers before attempting to discredit me as a basis to defend Prime Minister Najib. But the whole world knows about Dato Seri Najib, Jho Low and 1MDB. This is because famous newspapers in Washington, New York and London has published long articles up to four pages about the scandal of 1MDB, Najib with his luxurious lifestyle, Jho Low his close friend and Riza Aziz his stepson who financed porn film “The Wolf of Wall Street”.

3. A study by Western experts claimed that Malaysia is one of ten countries with the highest level of corruption in the world.

4. But Anifah is not embarrassed by all of these reports. There is not a single word uttered by him.

5. All statements that tarnished Malaysia were made way before me criticizing Dato Seri Najib.

6. If Anifah feel shameful, he should have been embarrassed at a time when the newspapers reports were made. He should have asked Dato Seri Najib about the scandal and foreign press reports. He should have advised Dato Seri Najib not to be so friendly with Jho Low and prohibit his stepson from posing as a wealthy tycoon.

7. In other countries with such a scandal involving a leader he will resign and beg for forgiveness. But in Malaysia, there are people who defend the leader for no reason, just because for security of position.

8. Indeed, the person who shamed the country is Dato Seri Najib with his 1MDB. This country has never before been ridiculed with allegations that are not answered as it is now.
