"Narrated Aisha that the prophet wrote the marriage contract with her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old. Hisham said: "I have been informed that Aisha remained with the prophet for nine years (i.e. till his death).""
Bukhari vol. 7, #88:
"Narrated Urwa: "The prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death).""

In this case Debmey dares not make the connect between the Jubair ibn Mut'am and Ayeshah chronology. And why so? Cos if Debmey did so, Debmey would be dumbfounded for an answer as to the true age of Ayeshah when reality strikes home over the impossibility of the 6 and 9 age count with the prophet of Islam.

It can't be clearere from Al Bukhari vol. 7, #65 and vol. 7, #88. There are many more corrobarating verses. Are you saying these verses are wrong? |
