Hi idadae! Welcome to KSY thread.  Samalah.. kita memang suka Kim So Yeon as Sunhwa in IRIS. Character transformation dia memang berkesan, langsung tak ada macam dia real-life yang sangat girlish & funny. Dia memang boleh bawa watak yang totally different from her real personality.
Coffee dah ada on torrent kalau nak tengok tapi tanpa subs. Just don't expect too much because filem ni terkena tempias budget cut.. it could have been a lot better. Tapi acting KSY tak terjejas, the best among the cast. |

Kim So Yeon cast as female lead in Ji Jin Hee's TV series

Korean actress Kim So-yeon will returning to the small screen as the female lead in a forthcoming TV series starring actor Ji Jin-hee, her agency Namoo Actors revealed on Friday.
Namoo said in a statement that Kim will play the role of Hae-in who is a strong-willed and principled woman, in SBS drama titled "Daepungsoo" (in Romanized Korean).
"Daepungsoo," set to air every Monday and Tuesday nights starting October, is a fictional biopic that will tell the story of King Yi Seong-gye (Ji), one of the most important historical figures in the history of the Korean peninsula.
Kim started out in the entertainment business in 1994 and is best known for her role in MBC's TV series "All About Eve" in 2000.
Since then, the actress starred in a number of hit dramas including KBS' blockbuster "IRIS" in 2009, SBS' "Princess Prosecutor" the same year and SBS' sports show "Dr. Champ" in 2010.
She last appeared in 2012 film "GABI (Coffee)" opposite actors Joo Jin-mo and Park Hee-soon opened in theaters on March 15. |

Kim So-yeon & Song Chang-eui join The Great Seer

More cast additions to upcoming sageuk The Great Seer, aka Dae Poong Soo, starring Ji Jin-hee as a king and Go Soo as the seer who puts him in power. Kim So-yeon (Coffee) will be making her drama comeback as the heroine, along with Song Chang-eui (Syndrome) who has been cast as Go Soo’s nemesis. So… we’re going for star-studded, are we?
The 36-episode drama will be about the practicers of divination and the power that they hold over the fate of the country. Ji Jin-hee plays the man put into power who sees the end of the Goryeo dynasty and becomes the first king of Joseon, and Go Soo is the seer who cements that destiny. Kim So-yeon’s character will be a healer, someone who is bold when it comes to protecting her beliefs and her love. She’s also got a quirky side, which sounds strange given the drama’s tone (epic), but Kim So-yeon can pretty much pull off anything. Her character is tied to the king’s destiny, but she falls in love with the seer, which kind of messes with the program. Just a little.
Song Chang-eui plays a man of great influence, who has studied all the divination texts, and challenges Go Soo’s character at every turn. I like that there’s a seer war, behind the political one–the drama will highlight how much influence these people had over kings and kingdoms, in giving those they supported immense power.
The Great Seer plans to premiere in October on SBS.

Moon Geun Young, Lee Yoon Ji, Kim Ah Joong and Other Actors Play at Company Outing

Although very busy with their individual schedules, the actors under the company, Namoo Actors, spent a two-day vacation playing under the sun.
On July 12, Namoo Actors uploaded pictures from its two-day adventure in Chuncheon onto its Facebook account, revealing the fun that the actors had on their outing.
The photos showed Moon Geun Young, Kim Ah Joong, Yoo Joon Sang, Han Hye Jin, Kim So Yeon, Lee Yoon Ji, Hong Eun Hee, Lee Gyu Han, and many others participating in various water sports.
Kim Hye Sung, who is currently on his vacation from the army, was also present at the outing.
The actors later split into teams and played competitive games together.
Hong Eun Hee also tweeted on July 10, “Namoo Actors outing. We came to Chuncheon. We’re having a great time. Here’s a picture with the actresses.”
The actors are said to have had lots of fun before returning to their schedules on July 12.

Shin Se Kyung, Lee Yoon Ji and Other Namoo Actors Celebrate Allure’s 9th Birthday

Known for their close relationships, even taking company trips together, nine actors from Namoo Actors participated in a celebratory issue for fashion magazine Allure’s ninth birthday.
The nine actors featured included Shin Se Kyung, Lee Yoon Ji, Kim Ji Soo, Kim So Yeon, Yoo Sun, Guwon, Han Gi Woong, Cha Mi Young, and Baek Yoon Sik.
The concept of the photo shoot was ‘The Movie-like Moment in My Life’ and each actor created a black and white portrait that exhibited each of their personal expressions and unique styles.
Allure magazine said, “We wanted to work with actors who have planted themselves in the title of ‘actor.’ We decided to pick Namoo Actors to work with because of the close relationships [within the company].”
