Bebo loses out on chance to work with SRK in Karan Johar's Khan

As super successful star-pair Shah Rukh-Kajol step into Karan Johar's new directorial venture Khan, Kareena Kapoor has reason to feel disappointed.
She was just about to get her wish fulfilled. After starring with SRK in Asoka, she had made it vocally clear that she'd love nothing more than to be paired with the mega-star once again.
Says a source, "Knowing her keenness to co-star with Shah Rukh, Karan had Kareena seriously under consideration for Khan. However, it was made clear to Kareena that she'd step into the picture only if Karan's favourite Kajol could not accommodate the project. In fact, in Kabhi Alvidaa Na Kehna too Rani stepped in when Kajol was unable to do the film. That was fine by Kareena since she's a diehard Kajol fan."
As luck would have it, Kajol has finally said yes to Khan.
Just before flying off to Los Angeles, a jubilant Karan could barely contain his excitement and nervousness. "Not that I've signed a formal contract with her or anything, but Kajol said yes two days ago. To bring back the Shah Rukh-Kajol pair after Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is a big responsibility. And I don't know how I'll live up to the audiences' expectations. Because my new film isn't going to take the pair into the fluffy romantic or the family-drama territory."
Set in New York post the 9/11 trauma, Karan's new film casts Shah Rukh and Kajol as a married couple battling with the grim reality of the changed scenario. "There will be songs, but Shah Rukh and Kajol do no singing in my new film," informs Karan, "In fact, they venture into characters, emotions, situations that they've never explored before. That's exciting for me as a filmmaker and for them as actors."
But how will the audience react to their new avatars? Wait and watch.

BTW, ader satu lagi movie SRK tahun ni, BILLO BARBER arahan Priya**han, tapi srk bukan lead actor, dia produce n berlakon gak sket utk film nih..
