Brain is real, alive and the root of human consciousness. Its a prime mover because it alive and always in a state of perpetual motion. Universe's existence is driven around motion. This is true because our very existence is also driven by the functioning brain. In human it manifest itself as consciouness. Descartes is right when he said 'Cogito ergo Sum- I think, therefore I am'. Beauty is merely perception and a product of working mind.

Well, if life is not fair, surely someone can have both, and another person to have none! |

u can have anything in life, money, beauty, love, brainy etc.
but, first u MUST REJECT everything
beautician actually is a BUSINESS ABOUT 'CLEANSING', to beautify is to cleanse (refering inside job)
but lot of ppl think , beautician is about kasik cantik cantik idung kasik mancung, superficial or plasticology
cleanse is about 'within' , the internal part, could be psyche, could be food and what u eat, etc.
in short, beauty is something from WITHIN (unreality) which manifest into real world, reality
things like GLOWING face, muka berseri seri, it must got to do with something is working right INSIDE that person from psychological part , from biological part etc.
would this seem possible without that person become brainy? any oang kampung, oang asli, oang dunia ketiga macam di afrika, could they seemed as beautiful walau pun mereka hanya bercawat? tak tahu membaca? menulis? tak tau speaking london or apa itu botox?
mereka mungkin ada 'teknoloji' mereka sendiri dalam bidang kecantikan or beautician or beautification seme tu kan?
so actually beauty and brain are refering the 'internal process' of living thing. Some beauty or maybe most of them purely plastic. once tested, they are indeed plastic. |

This topic is what's been going on in my mind all this while. Based on my personal experience, males tend to go for beauty (i'm talking about physical beauty). Brains come 2nd. When I put up my real pic or show my pic to men (for example, while online), I usually always get the same responses. Good friends suddenly turn into secret admirers just because of one pic. It happens over and over again that it makes me feel, where is the sincerity in starting a friendship if one chooses to befriend another, based on looks only? Why are we behaving this way? Is this how civilized human beings should behave? Again, based on my personal experience, 99% of men will opt for beauty, no matter how BRAINY a girl is. It also makes me strongly dislike people who befriend others just because of the looks. It makes me feel the person is FAKE. Befriending someone just because of the looks? Does it really take a degree to know that skin deep beauty is superficial?
Just stating my personal experience. No vendetta against men. |

Primordial programming? Survival instinct?
Male choose physical attractiveness. Female choose physical attributes such as strength or dominance. In modern world this is translates as social standing, status and wealth.
Is is fair? Maybe not. Does it happen? Most of the time. |

Survival instinct? For whom? Male, female, both? Probably I should mention, girls do it too, although I wouldn't have an idea of the exact percentage. The bottom point is, it's not sincere to befriend anyone because of sheer looks. If you don't have the looks, you're bound to be friendless (unless you have brains, or probably less friends). Just look at high school scenarios. Beauty is always more popular than brains. (But of course, if you have both, the reward is more). It is a scary world we're living in. Human beings are getting more and more physical-concerned than what is to be found inside the heart, when actually, it is always the heart that should be checked out first. But then again, life IS not fair. |
