Maria Sharapova upbeat about Cincinnati Masters
Withdrawing from the Rogers Cup in Toronto last week after getting injured in training, World No.2 Maria Sharapova is back on the WTA Tour for the first time since her Wimbledon semi-final loss.
“I'm feeling better, but I'm still working through it,” Sharapova said. The Russian also said that she plans to come back to the Western & Southern Open outside Cincinnati this week. “I always enjoy my little break after Wimbledon,'' she said. ''I love the summer.”
With a win-loss record of 34-7 including two titles this season, Sharapova is far from being satisfied. “Even when I've been healthy, little things here and there have limited me,” she said.
Though ranked behind Serena Williams, Sharapova feels she is lucky to be behind the American and even praised her for her consistency.
“Consistency is very underrated, but it goes a long way,” Sharapova said. “She has an incredible power to do that. The competitive thing is very unique. She has that extra gear that everybody wants to get.” |

sikit2lah excited.. sbb takde tourney... tgk pagar stadium jer hahah.. didn't even take a guided tour around. kena bayo tu 1 hal pastu anak2 sedara meragam sbb bosan and/or lapar.
so posing sket2, beli souvenir sket2 pastu ciao.
kat wimbledon lagik best la suasana tu.. ada bebudak junior praktis... derang pun pakai all white...
visitors pun lbh ramai kat wimbledon dari r.garros.
kat wimb. ada byk aktiviti maintenance derang buat... siram all those grass n plants... tukar signboards.. etc.. dlm kedai pun ramai sket staff & very friendly.
RG ni stadium rapat2... phillippe chatrier pun lebih kecik dari centre court wimbledon.
kat london sempat melawat kelab Chelsea & Arsenal. takde g Man Utd la sbb jauh dari London kan..
