mengikut pandangan para jurulatih, Lin Dan memang satu tahap diatas LCW. beliau mempunyai adunan yang sempurna dgn sistem 21 mata iaitu " power and Speed". walaupun LCW juga tidak kurang hebatnya namun Lin Dan lebih pantas dan bijak mengawal hantaran. |

tujuan kita smash bukan semestinya untuk dapatkan point. ada kalanya kita smash dengan tujuan supaya "return" yang dibalas menjadi lemah, contoh return bola tanggung, return net yg agak tinggi. hasil daripada kesilapan return inilah baru kita menyerang untuk point.
memang betul, mindset sangat penting dalam sukan badminton selain skill dan footwork. kalau mindset dah negatif, ia akan menyebabkan permainan kita tidak menjadi. |

‘Floater’ Eei Hui enjoying life with different partners
PETALING JAYA: Doubles specialist Chin Eei Hui is really looking forward to a reunion with her regular partner Wong Pei Tty.
But while waiting for that to happen, she is proving to be the most successful – and dangerous – floater in the national badminton team.
In the China Open yesterday, Eei Hui, who has been playing with different partners since Pei Tty underwent a knee surgery six months ago, cleared the first round hurdle in the women’s and mixed doubles events in contrasting fashions.
She reached the women’s doubles second round with Goh Liu Ying after China’s Wang Xiaoli-Yu Yang conceded a walkover while trailing 8-11 in the opening game.
In the mixed doubles, she combined with Koo Kien Keat to beat the formidable South Korean pair of Yoo Yeon-seong-Kim Min-jung 21-15, 21-15.
In October, the crafty shuttler bagged the mixed doubles gold with Kien Keat at the New Delhi Commonwealth Games. And last month, at the Malaysian Satellite in Sabah, she took the women’s crown with youngster Lai Pei Jing.
Eei Hui said that she was making the best of her stint as a “floater”.
“I give my best with whoever is paired with me. I just enjoy playing the game,” said Eei Hui in a telephone interview.
“Some of the youngsters still have a lot to learn. And usually I will teach them while playing with them. These partnerships are temporary and I am trying to make the best of it.”
Eei Hui is happy that Pei Tty is currently undergoing light training on court.
“I miss her. We have been together for almost eight years and it is not the same without her. I am glad that she is doing light skills on court,” said Eei Hui.
“Our world ranking has dropped and we need to improve on it if we are to qualify for the London Olympic Games. I am looking forward to that. But, for now, I hope to do well with the others.”
Eei Hui-Pei Tty, once ranked fourth in the world, have dropped to No. 18.
In the China Open in Shanghai today, Eei Hui-Liu Ying will take on top seeds Cheng Wen-hsing-Chin Yu-chin of Taiwan while in the mixed doubles, Eei Hui-Kien Keat will meet third seeds Sudket Prapakamol-T. Saralee of Thailand.
