Why a person commits suicide?

Basically, we human are afraid to die. What drives a person to commit suicide?:stp:
How he/she get the courage to kill him/herself?:hmm:

sampai satu tahap dia dah bosan dengan hidup.....
kalau dia hidup pun tadak gunanya.....
stress yang melampau...
contoh drummer band Helloween bunuh diri dengan terjun di landasan keretapi waktu keretapi lalu....memang confirm mati....

I wonder if a person who jumped down from 20th flloor and half way in his journey down, would he regrets?

perhaps to him, suicide is the only way out of his problems.
he really cant see the brighter side of things even though he's done his estimation/predictions.
pity these kind of people because they cant help themselves

eventhough in our religion its a no no, and even in some country it is even illegal, to take ur own life

what drives them to it? a moment of insanity? a moment of desparation that so out of these world? face matter?

who to know what goes on in their trouble mind, in the time of desparation, where death that is eeries for some
seems like a welcome pearly gate of heaven to them.....I am more concern abt the impact that these 'untimely' death
brings upon to the surviving members of the family, the guilt that besieged them, could I've helped, could I've prevented, the what if that, they are left is, is so inhuman to be dealt with

I know these from my own experienced, when a fren choose to end her life

I've read somewhere...that even before they touch the ground, their life is gone, got to search in the net abt these

Is the courage to kill him/herself or lack of courage to continue living despite the challenges and problems that led to a person contemplating suicide?

I think in generally, being afraid of death is true but I am also aware of those who believe life is a cycle and to commit suicide may open an opportunity to be reincarnated under better circumstances thus avoiding the predicaments in their 'current' lives.

i think ppl committ suicide because of

depression (feeling useless about oneself) or

sacrificial (altruism).

not just ppl..kalo sapa rajin cuba kaji pasal apa ikan paus suka 'beaching', mendamparkan diri di pantai sampai mati , bukan satu dua but banyak..salu kuo cite ni

saintis kata ikan paus tu tak dapat jalan keluar bila masuk pada area lebih cetek dan bingung last2 bunuh diri dan kendian 'herd mentality' takes effect, satu buat semua buat

zaman moden ni memperlihatkan statistik cukup mengerunkan bab suicidal ni terutama golongan remaja barat.

ada kadang2..ok jek jalan kendian dia terjun masa keretapi lalu..or ada di jalanraya masa lori lalu..ada banyak gak kes cam ni

i think terlalu susah nak baca di dalam hati manusia ..terutama ibu bapa, depa kene btui2 tau dan amik berat emosi anak2 remaja, walo pun dalam dunia siber begini jangan fikir mereka gelak ketawa itu tanda semua nya ok..tau2 anak depa pi bunuh diri..

pada saya belia bunuh diri itu seolah mahu memberi 'statement' pada society, I AM NOT OK while all this time u ppl think I AM OK.

ramai ketawa tapi sebenarnya dia nangis..tu yang duk pendam2 lama2 tiada exit..dia matikan diri nya. boleh jadi dia fikir, ketiadaan dia setidaknya society or maybe keluarga akan lebih bagus.

low self esteem yang terlalu kronik lazimnya sangat bahaya. tiada self worthiness.  saya penah baca insiden soang pompuan lepas dia kene perkosa dia terlalu benci diri dia saat itu gak trus lari di tengah jalan dan di langgar kenderaan..i think the feeling of uselessness dia terlalu kuat UNTUK MASA ITU..sebab itu any MANGSA JENAYAH wajib pihak kuasa secepat mungkin adakan pihak kaunselor masa itu jua untuk elak pekara lebih buruk macam self destruction begitu.

Suicide reason?

Despair- feel that they have nothing and nothing is worth for them

Fear- death is better than deal with the problem if they are alive

love=hate- when you love somone and he/she betrays you, you feel hate (which is overwhelmed by love) you want them to be as remorse as possible... by killing yourself and let them think that because of them you die

Heard about that too. They died of heart attack, that means they regreted doing so.

According to the Doctrine of Karma, this person still has to face the same problems in his next life coz his "debts" were not settled in current life. It could even end up  worse, more "debts".

Ini yang paling bahaya. Sebenarnya orang yang bunuh diri ni dia dah fikir banyak kali. Bukannya sesuatu yang dilakukan secara spontan dan tiba-tiba. Semua faktor diambil kira... Bagaimana, bila, di mana, kadar berjaya... dsbgnya...

But I do see a trend of being suicidal being from certain groups and generally those believing in reincarnation.... dunno, maybe coincidence.

Pernah saya dengar satu kisah...

Ada satu GRO... dia di tekak dengan parang dan hampir mati. dan muka dia semua dah hancur. telinga putus satu.

tapi dia tak bunuh diri.. dia pergi dari gereja ke gereja, seminar ke seminar suruh orang cintai kehidupan dan jangan putus asa...

diari dia dah jadi buku yang popular....
