ada soang raja di aprika. bila menteri dia kata ada satu negara sangat ajaib di mana negara tu hukum banduan dengan suruh duduk di kerusi dan tekan button kendian banduan tu mati. Raja aprika tu pun tanpa pikir panjang suruh order satu untuk negara depa, sebab depa pun nak setanding maju macam negara ajaib tu. So kerusi tu pun mai. kendian baginda raja pun nak hukum banduan dia macam negara ajaib, kecuali ada satu masalah. Negara depa belum ada letrik pun. Tapi baginda bukan jenis suka putus asa, sesia lah jadik raja kalo akal dia kontot, so dia buat electric chair tu jadik singgahsana dia, sementara negara depa tunggu mampu ada bekalan letrik

Edward De Bono, mencadangkan selain ada YES and NO, di gunakan istilah PO  .

PO is denoting Possibility.

De Bono kata lagi, setiap manusia born as genius.

Pendapat saya , talent is a matter of blossoming. Behind this blossoming is the energy driven by Commitment. Macam apa Napoleone Hill berpendapat, Think and Grow Rich. Everybody has the same talent. The different is simply a matter of choice.

It is true, human is being pulled back or expanded by his or her own thinking. The mind's interpretation of an event determines the belief regarding that event.

ermmm...setuju semua org dilahirkan genius, tapi talent is merely inbron quality

kalo tanya mak/ayah esp kat malaya nie, semua dia nak anak2 depa ada TALENT jadi doctor...depa groom anak2 dr kecik tapi bila besar, hati dia bukan kat situ...dan dia gunakan ilmu yg ada...hanya utk bekerja carik makan dan membalas budi org tua.....

bakat akan disertai dgn passion, ramai doctor kat sini....ilmu disertakan dgn pendapatan lumayan, passion taraaakkkk....tu yg jumpa padetrician tak sudi pengang anak...sebab geli kot!

I don't know what people think of this but,

You really desire something deeply? You have the talent for it.

setiap kali membaca buku2 yg hubby bawak balik dr seminar pasal leadership...kerap kali kepala nie ligat berpusing, fikir cemana nak groom a leader....

antara trait leader yg plg mustahak adalah visionary and ambitious....sampai sekarang me tak pernah jumpa buku leadership yg ajar nak dapatkan kualiti2 nie...

sesapa yg tahu?

Tapi tu pendapat saya sendiri.

It's a bit hard to articulate this for unquantifieable qualities...

I'll try.

Poin paling utama, ada tak orang yang rasa nyanyian mereka seronok untuk didengar? It doesn't matter if I find Siti's voice repulsing or nauseating, if there are 100 other people who like to hear her sing, she must be good enough for them.

And we must not forget, do they really like singing, or do like the money, fame or attention they gets from their vocation? Do they want to be a best selling singer or do they want to be the best singer? Robert Kiyosaki once told a female Singaporean's journalist that he is a 'best selling author'. He is never a 'best writing author'. He told the reporter that she is a great writer but that doesn't guarantee dough. So Robert gets rich, and famous and the journalist, I don't know.

So if they have desire to get fame, and they become famous they have the talent to get famous.
Willian Hung knows he is not a fantastic singer but he is darn famous. Much more so than our Siti Nurhaliza, patriotism aside.
He has the talent to be famous.

When I talk about desire, I did not mean fleeting sensation of wants or wretvhedness. What I mean is something deep. Very deep. You want it so badly that you'll go at it. Anyway, anyhow. Nothing else matter. It is. It is. It is.

Many people want to be rich, but they don't want to learn how to be. They don't wat to take the step. They are lazy. they rationalize money can't buy happiness. This is not the kind of desire that I'm talking of. The people who want to sing, most of them just want to sing in the shower. Only some really desire to step in the limelight.

Sometime  I want to be a good singer, or bassiss in rock band. It is a desire allright. Albeit in the form of faint longing and vague desire.

Do I take action? Do I go to vocal classes? Do I get professional bass training. No, I don't want it that bad. It is just a spur of the moment thing. You see Ultraman TV show, you desire to be ultraman, but do you really want to be Ultraman with all your feeling, conviction and faith?

Ridiculous example, but that's my point.

It's not somethig I really want. It is not something I 'really desire'. The deep kind of desire stems from the confident that you'll be good. You only just need to try, practise, improve yourself.

That's the best I can articulate. At this moment.

You got the talent, it's not much if you don't make good use of it.

Kyle MacDonald has successfully traded one red paperclip for a house. He has no greater talent than most people. Only different mindset, and deep desire, the kind that stem from deep conviction and unwavering faith.

You got son/daughter? What is the thing that they like to do? Do you think they can get very good at it if given good training?

errr... this topic is about lateral thinking, or talent. Should I split it or not? I don't want to stop the train of thought, though.

2-2 tak sedap..nie jawapan my hubby gak!!

cuba bandingkan antara britney spears dan christina agulerra(cemana spelling) ...org berbakat, thay are acting like the r in the nest, org yg "desire" to be like one...they r struggle to be...

to be on the top....its requires a lot of things, not just a talent...but talent itself is like a "klik" stuff that make them unique and difference from others...

i hv 6yrs old boy who loves to be "salesman"...bcos of the word "man" instead of scientist ...but he doesn't like to talk and  be with people....so tell me how can i help him, to change him like one ...

i also dah khatam buku dr psikologist carl yung pasal karektor manusia...satu yg me paham, let us be in our nest...learn to be the best in the diff. nest...
