BEIJING, July 29) -- Six categories of new Games-time official licensed products were unveiled on the occasion of the 10-day countdown to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. All items are priced at 500 yuan or below. The new items include precious metal products, clothing, pins and silk products, among others.
 
According to Yuan Bin, director of BOCOG's Marketing Department, 68 authorized manufacturers had produced more than 8,000 products across twelve categories as of the end of June 2008. The products have been available across the nation as well as in Hong Kong and Macau at more than 6,300 outlets.
The most recent products are attractive and functional and also have collector's value.
