Singapura Atasi Hong Kong, London Dan New York Menjadi Bandar Paling Mahal Untuk Gaya Hidup Kelas Atasan

Singapura: Menurut Laporan Gaya Hidup dan Kekayaan Global 2023 dikeluarkan oleh Julius Baer Group yang berpangkalan di Switzerland, Singapura buat kali pertama mengatasi Hong Kong, London dan New York menjadi bandar paling mahal untuk gaya hidup kelas atasan.
Laporan itu menunjukkan bahawa kereta dan insurans kesihatan asas di Singapura lebih mahal berbanding purata global, dengan kos masing-masing pada 133 peratus dan 109 peratus, menurut Agensi Berita Vietnam (VNA).
Angka itu adalah sebahagian daripada 12 barangan pengguna dan lapan perkhidmatan yang mencerminkan corak perbelanjaan golongan kaya.

Singapura muncul satu daripada bandar pertama Asia melonggarkan sekatan Covid-19 dan ia menyaksikan kemasukan kekayaan ke negara pulau itu dengan cepat.
Laporan itu juga menekankan bahawa Singapura mempunyai permintaan tinggi untuk perumahan, pendidikan yang mahal dan kos sara hidup yang tinggi secara amnya.
Shanghai yang berada di kedudukan teratas pada 2022 jatuh ke tempat kedua, mungkin disebabkan sekatan wabak berpanjangan berbanding bandar lain.
Hong Kong menduduki tempat ketiga, manakala Johannesburg (Afrika Selatan) berada di bahagian bawah senarai yang merangkumi 25 bandar di seluruh dunia.
Pertambahan penduduk tempatan dan asing di kawasan tanah yang kecil dianggap sebagai sebab utama kos sara hidup yang tinggi secara konsisten di Singapura.
