New Delhi: Seorang lelaki ditahan kerana didakwa membuang air besar dan kencing di atas lantai pesawat Air India yang dalam perjalanan dari Mumbai ke Delhi.
Portal NDTV melaporkan, insiden itu berlaku di dalam pesawat AIC 866 pada 24 Jun lalu.
Berdasarkan maklumat awal diterima, suspek, Ram Singh yang juga penumpang di tempat duduk bernombor 17F, membuang air besar, membuang air kecil, dan meludah di barisan bernombor sembilan.

Selepas memerhatikan salah laku berkenaan, kru kabin memberi amaran lisan kepada penumpang.
Juruterbang bertugas juga dimaklumkan mengenai situasi itu.
Mesej dihantar kepada syarikat itu yang kemudian dengan segera meminta anggota keselamatan bersedia semasa ketibaan untuk mengiringi penumpang.
Tindakan itu menyebabkan beberapa penumpang tidak senang.
Sewaktu ketibaan, ketua keselamatan Air India ada bersama dan mengiringi penumpang ke balai polis tempatan.
Kes disiasat mengikut Seksyen 294 Kanun Keseksaan kerana melakukan perbuatan lucah dan Seksyen 510 kanun sama bagi salah laku di khalayak ramai oleh orang mabuk.
Pada 26 November tahun lalu, seorang lelaki, yang dalam keadaan mabuk, didakwa membuang air kecil pada seorang penumpang bersama wanita dalam penerbangan Air India dari New York ke Delhi.
Sepuluh hari kemudian iaitu pada 6 Disember lalu, satu lagi episod penumpang lelaki mabuk yang didakwa kencing di atas selimut penumpang wanita dilaporkan dalam penerbangan Air India dari Paris ke New Delhi. -CARI
