Housing loan RM35k: Refinance or go for personal loan?

Hi All,
Nak tanya pendapat pakar2 di sini. Aku beli medium cost apartment in 2001 pada harga RM86k dgn Eon Bank (skrg dh Hong Leong) for 20years. Till end june 2011, baki loan aku ada RM35k++, monthly installment RM679 tp dah kebiasaan aku bayar lebih biasa RM800. Waktu aku amik loan tu, special housing loan interest BLR+3% or 9% whichever is lower. Skrg ni dgn BLR 6+ kan, aku terasa sangat rugi dengan interest 9% tu.
Persoalannya skrg, dengan baki RM35k tu, sebaiknya aku go for refinance or buat personal loan? Any idea? Please help. |

at 35k, ada bank boleh kasik refinance ker?? am not sure abt it, but u can always check.
between personal & housing loan, most of cases (generally) housing loan offer better rate than personal loan. in the long run, u can save more $$$ thru housing loan than personal loan. im talking about general comparison ajek.
its best if u can find both product and compare apple to apple. in cases where u cant refinance 35k housing loan, i think taking personal loan wic can offer lower int rate (5% ada) compared to paying 9% housing loan int rate is better.
try get the products first then compare lah.... |

thanks for d info... bila fikir2 mmg rugi sungguh kan.. tu la yg the best ms aku apply loan 10 years ago.. aku mmg good payer, bayar aje every month until bila aku apply for other housing loan utk rumah baru aku, aku perasan betapa ruginya aku setia bayar bulan2 kat eon bank. someone suggest aku try RHB but aku blm sempat2 lagi nk ke bank. any suggestion? |

en berkerja kt mana? swasta atau govt? lau govt staf atau glc better take personal loan.. boleh pm sy utk info.. rate lg rendah dari house loan. |

firstly.. cuba bincang dengan banker tu... boleh restructure with new interest rate tak?
maintain same payment tapi shorter period laa for the balance....
or else... refinance jer dgn bank lain...
maintain same payment amount and period...
duit lebih masuk ASB..........
tak perlu personal loan....... ini untuk emergency atau keadaan terdesak jer...
rates dia tak best pun.... |

i juga runsing dgn persoalan ni.. i nk beli hartanah skrng, sepert kondo, flat ke, rumah ke.. asalkan rumah tu lokasi strategik kat bangsar la.. tapi bank masik x bagi ape2 balasan.. suka lengah la.. i dah call kat bank, tapi mereka x kirau langsung.. malas lah i nk layan mereka lagi.. apa cadangan korang? tukar bank lain tau pun tunggu sampai mereka membalaskan saya ? i tak mau bazir masa lagi la

x pyh lah runsing sana sini.. kalo u kaya, bayar ngan cash la..senang.. tai kalo u mau cadagan bank yg bagus, pada i, ku rasa Citibank agak bagus.. sbb baru ni ada Citibank Online Indicative Approval tool .. u blh submit borang permohonan secara online.. agak cepat dpt balasan la |

cepat betui balasan drp Citibank.. mereka terus panggil saya lepas i submit borang permohonan tu.. haha. akhirnya i dpt loan saya.. mmg puas menunggu ni .. i suka kecekapan servis citibank lahh |
