 Movie studio 20th Century Fox are reportedly on the verge of dropping the director and cast of the forthcoming Fantastic Four reboot. Fox apparently want to give the film a complete overhaul and have been approaching other possible directors to take over from Josh Trank. According to Bleeding Cool, a ‘rather well-connected source’ has revealed that the cast could also be dumped, six months before shooting is scheduled to start. The site reports: ‘Fox is looking to dump director Josh Trank and the script by Simon Kinbergs and are actively looking for replacements. Six months before they are due to shoot, for 2015 release. ‘Oh, yes, and there are now casting issues from the studio too.’ It goes on to say that despite Screen Crush reporting ‘high level Fox sources’ refuting the rumours, Bleeding Cool ‘remain confident in our source.’  ‘Bleeding Cool suggests that if Fox really would like to stomp on the rumour’ the site continues, ‘they stop approaching folk to replace the director.’ Should the rumours turn out to be true, it’ll be bad news for stars Kate Mara, Miles Teller, Michael B Jordan and Jamie Bell. The four highly talented young actors had recently been announced to play the Invisible Woman, Mr Fantastic, The Human Torch and The Thing respectively.
