 First the extensive character posters, and now a full-on teaser for the 'The Expendables 3' has been detonated online... making much of the cast whose surnames say it all. Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Lundgren, Statham, Li, Gibson, Snipes... etc. The crew of the forthcoming sequel are listed in the short trailer, which also throws in a smattering of action too. There's abseiling down skyscrapers, helicopter gunships, jumping out of windows, standing on moving trains, more helicopter gunships, remote controlled explosions, sharp suits and Terry Crews. “Lots to digest,” says Wesley Snipes, to the chuckles of his muscle-bound chums. It is indeed. So, that roll call in full is Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Antonio Banderas, Wesley Snipes, Dolph Lundgren, Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kellan Lutz, Terry Crews, Kelsey Grammer, Randy Couture, Glen Powell and Victor Ortiz. Yes, it's man-heavy, so there are a couple of ladies too, namely Ronda Rousey, Natalie Burn and Lisbeth Olofsson, but that's literally your lot. The action will see Sly's Barney Ross face off with his former compadre, and Expendables co-founder, Conrad Stonebanks, played by Gibson. It's due to punch your senses in cinemas from August 15, 2014. |
