Arnold Schwarzenegger's son, Patrick, will star in Paramount Pictures' upcoming film, "Scouts Vs. Zombies," Deadline reported Patrick is the third child of Schwarzenegger and journalist Maria Shriver. "Scouts Vs. Zombies" will be helmed by Christopher Landon, the director three "Paranormal Activity" films. Production of the film will begin on May 8. For the film, the young Schwarzenegger will play a popular high school quarterback who is also the tormentor of a boy scout troop. He will appear alongside Tye Sheridan, the young actor who played opposite Matthew McConaughey in the 2013 indie drama film, "Mud," according to The Hollywood Reporter. Sheridan is set to play the upcoming film's lead, a socially-awkward honor student who is also a member of the scouts. Together with his colleagues, they must rely on their survival skills to battle their way through a zombie horde after their small town was hit by an outbreak. "Scouts Vs. Zombies" will be Patrick's fifth feature film. He appeared as a jock in the 2006 comedy film "The Benchwarmers" and managed to nab minor roles in "Stuck in Love" (2012) and "Grown Ups 2" (2013). He is also set to appear in the coming-of-age film "Dear Eleanor." Directed by "Entourage's" Kevin Connolly, the film stars Isabelle Fuhrman, Liana Liberato and Jessica Alba. The film follows the story of two best friends traveling across the U.S. in 1962 to meet Eleanor Roosevelt. "Dear Eleanor" will premiere at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. Earlier this month, Patrick was hospitalized after undergoing hip surgery. He was visited by his father and while Patrick was still unconscious due to the effects of anesthesia, Arnold posed for a hilarious photo beside his bed, according to Perez Hilton. Patrick posted the photo on his Instagram account and later on tweeted, "Successful surgery. Thanks @Schwarzenegger with this photo bomb while I was knocked out." Fashiontimes
