Malaysia Airlines returns to Dubai Direct daily flights to resume on 5 August 2013 KUALA LUMPUR, June 25 (Bernama)-- Malaysia Airlines will reinstate the Kuala Lumpur-Dubai return service to its network, effective August 3, with daily flights using Boeing 777-200 aircraft. The aircraft, with a capacity of 282 seats on each flight, will offer an equivalent to 3,948 seats weekly. Beginning Aug 5, the flights will depart Kuala Lumpur daily at 11.30 pm and arrive Dubai at 2.20 am the next day. The return flight is at 4.10am, to arrive Kuala Lumpur at 3.25 pm. "Dubai was one of the routes suspended during our route rationalisation exercise in January last year. We are happy to reinstate it after continuously monitoring the market demand," said Malaysia Airlines Group Chief Executive Officer, Ahmad Jauhari Yahya in a press statement. In conjunction with the re-introduction, the national carrier is offering an attractive promotional fare that start from only RM1,999 for an all inclusive economy class return ticket, and as low as RM5,999 for business class.
