Pejabat Perdana Menteri Mesir memaklumkan sudah menemui kotak hitam pesawat Airbus A321 Russia, yang terhempas di kawasan pergunungan di Hassana, Sinai, di Mesir, semalam.

"Kotak hitam sudah ditemui dari ekor pesawat dan telah dihantar untuk dianalisis oleh pakar," kata pejabat itu dalam satu kenyataan."

Pegawai tentera dan pihak keselamatan Mesir mengesahkan tiada mangsa yang selamat dalam nahas pesawat Airbus A321 Russia, yang terhempas di kawasan pergunungan di Hassana, Sinai, di Mesir, semalam.

Ini bermakna semua 224 penumpang dan kru pesawat terkorban dalam nahas itu. Ia membabitkan tujuh kru dan 217 penumpang, yang terdiri daripada 214 warga Russia, manakala selebihnya adalah rakyat Ukraine.

Daripada jumlah keseluruhan 217 penumpang itu, 138 mangsa adalah wanita, 62 lelaki dan 17 kanak-kanak.

Pejabat itu turut memberitahu, setakat kini, pasukan penyelamat sudah berjaya memindahkan 129 mayat dari lokasi kemalangan untuk dibawa ke rumah mayat di Kaherah.

Pesawat Airbus A321 Russia yang terhempas di kawasan pergunungan di Hassana, Sinai, Mesir, hari ini dilaporkan mengalami masalah teknikal dan bukan ditembak jatuh.

Ia dimaklumkan ketua jawatankuasa pemantau nahas Mesir, Ayman Al-Mokadem seperti dipetik portal berita Mesir, Ahram Online.

Al-Mokadem berkata, kapten pesawat berkenaan ada memaklumkan mengenai kegagalan teknikal yang dialami pesawat itu kepada pengawal trafik udara (ATC) Mesir, sebelum ia dilaporkan hilang daripada radar.

Katanya, juruterbang pesawat juga cuba melakukan pendaratan cemas di Lapangan Terbang Al-Arish di utara Sinai, sebelum nahas itu.

Satu pasukan penyiasatan penerbangan kini dalam perjalanan ke lokasi nahas, untuk mendapatkan kotak hitam bagi mengenalpasti punca sebenar nahas itu.

Jumlah kematian rasmi masih belum diumumkan setakat ini.

Pihak Russia juga dilaporkan akan menghantar pasukan penyelamat ke Mesir bagi membantu operasi menyelamat, selain pihak Israel yang turut menawarkan khidmat sama.

Seorang pegawai keselamatan Mesir yang tiba di tempat kejadian, hari ini mengesahkan pesawat membawa 217 penumpang itu musnah dan hampir semua penumpang dipercayai terkorban.

Pesawat itu terhempas di kawasan pergunungan di tengah Sinai dan hilang dari radar ketika terbang pada ketinggian 31,000 kaki.

A Russian civilian aircraft has reportedly gone missing in Egypt's Sinai region and is feared to have crashed.

It's NOT confirmed that this flight has crashed. It descended 5000 feet before Flightradar24 coverage was lost.

A Russian airliner has crashed in central Sinai with more than 200 people on board, the office of Egypt's prime minister has confirmed.
